A project I regret not sharing sooner.
This collaborative shoot, brought to life by a team of talented creatives, was featured on Glamour.
It was a thoughtful and well-executed vision, with every detail carefully considered across design, florals, and styling.

Honored to have contributed to this work and to be alongside such a dedicated team.

Looking back fondly on our Glamour feature today! This pretty in pink tablescape was adorned with Specialty Margot Rose Linen, Watercolor Blush China, Gramercy Gold flatware, and Luxe Clear glassware. All perfectly tied together with Colette seating lining the table.

Valerie and I have loved each other since 2020. We said FOREVER today, three years ago. We have this silly tradition to watch our wedding video EVERY year on our wedding date. This year we are inviting you to watch our sneak peek with us.

We are forever grateful for everyone who has been in our lives - thank you for supporting our love!

If it wasn't for a dear friend, @gabriellecarolina, we wouldn't have a wedding video - THANK YOU for making it happen. Credit to our amazing videographer @stephmcoppvideography! Other vendors we have to include is @cisforcristal for our photos. Valerie's sister and husband that ran around decorating (thank you @vbillzz and @cbillz913 !!). Thank you to Clark and @caaam.w for helping us navigate San Fransisco and making sure we feel home even though we weren't home. Thank you to mum and dad that help us plan our dream elopement!! @victoria_merrick , thank you for traveling all the way from Florida to be there. And our dear friend, @kingbennardo , thank you for being our officiant and representing my family.

To my lief, I will always love you!!!

If Valerie and I had to plan our wedding again… we’d do nothing differently.

We got married on the side of the road in California with just 9 guests and a whole lot of love. Budget? Under 15k. But not in the “we DIYed everything and barely made it” way — in the “we spent money where it mattered most: on our photographer and videographer” kind of way. Thank you to @cisforcristal for our photos, there isn’t a day we don’t look at them. Our video we watch every anniversary, and yes we share it all the time with loved ones ~ thank you @stephmcoppvideography
🌼 Trader Joe’s florals (yes, really)
💍 Thrifted decor + hand-me-down champagne glasses
🛻 A free roadside venue that was accidentally perfect
🥘 Family-cooked meals at the Airbnb
🧥 Queer AF outfits that totaled under $800

What we didn’t have: a big reception, a planner, or my full family (COVID + complicated queer things).
What we did have: a ceremony that felt like us. And a whole lot of joy.
Would we do it again this way? Yes. But we also made a promise to host a vow renewal — a celebration with our chosen family, music, and maybe even a dance floor under the stars.

✨ So if you’re in the messy middle of wedding planning, just know: there’s no “right” way. Only your way.

🫶 How did you save money for your wedding? Or how are you planning to? Drop your favorite tip or plan below — someone might need it today.

Featured in Glamour Magazine UK, this tablescape is what our garden wedding dreams are made of. The delicate Watercolor Blush china, paired with the Specialty Margot Rose linen, adds the perfect pop of pink, while the Colette chair grounds the look with its beautiful organic texture.
