. ARTIST HIGHLIGHT FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17 at @turbohaus in MTL, QC The Final Show of the Not Flirting, Just Existing Tour with Wet for Days and Ruby Slipper ✨✨✨ WET FOR DAYS/ @wet.for.days-punk rock moms from Ottawa, making their debut MTL performance! With 8 kids between then, they balance that family life and punk rock nights. They bring a high-octane performance that blends infectious melodies with punk rock lyricism. Their repertoire, characterized by fast-paced and catchy tunes, serves as a platform for advocating sex worker rights, embracing sexuality, and smashing stigmas. They’re celebrating the release of their full-length debut record in 2025- come party! ✨✨✨ ✨✨✨ RUBY SLIPPER- @ruby_slippermtl- is a fuzz drenched fever dream rising out of Montréal’s underground. Gritty guitars snarl, and dreamy melodies shimmer beneath confessional vocals that feel torn from a diary page and set alight. They released their “In a Daze” EP in 2025. ✨✨✨ ✨✨✨ THEE SOREHEADS/ @theesoreheads are four slightly angry punks (Maria, Ally, Hugh, and Seyjii) based in Tiohtià:ke (Montréal). Known for their riotous live performances, Thee Soreheads bring a hard-hitting garage punk sound influenced by surf rock, riot grrl and rock n roll. From consent, to calling out white supremacists, their witty confrontational lyrics and catchy riffs meld to create wild, chaotic anthems of big issues. ✨✨✨ ✨✨✨ RAINDOG- @raindogband is a five-piece alternative rock band from Montréal, Canada. RAINDOG’s sound flirts with punk, but their lyrics have a softness and attention to detail that beg to be heard. Known for their infectious stage presence, catchy melodies and riot grrrl guitar sounds. RAINDOG released an eight-track LP titled C’est Pas Grave on vinyl on June 13th, 2025 ✨✨✨ SEE YA ALL SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17! The world lost a badass musician recently, Jennifer Finch, bassist of grunge-rock band L7 passed away from an agressive form of brain cancer. We've been working on this cover of Shove for the past little while and this show was the perfect time to debut it as tribute to her. We continue to be inspired by bands like L7 and musicians like Jennifer who smash gender barriers and lead with a fierce power that prove everyone deserves a chance to be who they are. Rest in power & peace @jenniferfinch. @l7theband Thanks for the video @kiradrums #l7 #jenniferfinch #shove #womeninpunk #feminist
