Just got the news that my Uncle Paul passed away today. One day after the anniversary of my mom's passing. My Uncle Paul was one of the kindest, most loving, hard-working men I've ever known. My dad's big brother. He was always the one my dad would call if he had a problem. Paul was the sweetest man, but when it came to protecting his family, he was a force to be reckoned with. I have so many fond memories with my uncle. He was always the first to grab the football and come play catch with my brother and I when he would come see us. A true man of God he loved Jesus with all his heart, and there's no doubt that he's reunited with my dad in heaven. What a glorious day it'll be to see them all again.

This has been a tough last few months. We had to put our Sweet dog Husker Down last Friday at 13 years old. He had Degenerative Myelopathy and it's slowly took him down. He had so much fight in him still. He probably would've lived another two years if it wouldn't have been for this awful disease. Anybody that knows me knows I've had shepherds my whole life. Husker was just different. He was truly a soul dog to me and our family. I always said him and our other Shepherd Herbie are like our guardian angels. Husker was the sweetest kindest dog. He was very protective but the kindest animal you could ever meet. I held on as long as I could until he couldn't walk anymore. This was one of the hardest things I've gone through in my life. I lost both my parents in two totally different ways, but for some reason this hit differently. He will be greatly missed. It started storming when the vets got here to put him down, and after he had passed there was a huge rainbow. It was so terrible yep perfect. I bet he's in heaven right now playing with my mom and dad. Take care of them old boy ❤️. Love you Bug guy. Thanks for giving me 13 wonderful years with you.

Spring season rolls on! Caught a tense 4-3 win for Armstrong tennis against Coon Rapids, before watching Armstrong/Cooper beat Rogers at home (while Katie Palony hit 200 career points!). Then at Osseo last night for baseball versus Elk River.

More on the way. All stories to be featured in 5.14 editions of the Sun Post and/or Osseo Maple Grove Press newspapers. #robbinsdalearmstrong #osseo #tennis #lacrosse #baseball

The Osseo baseball team trailed Rogers 6-0 after one half inning, but that early deficit didn’t doom Osseo to a third straight loss.

The Orioles chipped away after trailing 8-2 through two innings, scoring four runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and one in the sixth to send the game to extra innings tied 8-8.

The Orioles scored the winning run on an error in the bottom of the 8th to win 9-8.

Cole Johnson pitched 6 1/3 scoreless innings in relief for a well-earned win.

Osseo is now 1-2 while Rogers fell to 1-3.
