Dear DIYdancer readers:

First of all, we want to thank you for your support of our endeavor. It’s been a labor of love for this art form and dance journalism for more than a decade. We’re so proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish and it would not have been possible without you. That said, it’s time for a new chapter for our team, and that means DIYdancer and all of its projects will go on indefinite hiatus. You can still read, listen, and view all our work at DIYdancer.com. It’s been an adventure and we’re so glad you were a part of it. Thank you!

Best,
Stephanie, Candice, Lara and Celine

#waybackwednesday to a few audio projects I've worked on, were new adventures for sure...challenged me in wonderful ways. 4 years since Unsequenced with @brycedance, 2 in August since @eugenia_zinovieva's feature on the same, and 2 in June since Erase The Stigma Through Dance (and many other incredible artists) on Vulnerable Resilience! 🎙🎚🎧✍️🏻💃🏼🕺🏽

Links in bio to learn more and listen. Thank you as always, @diydancermag...your work has mattered 🕺🏻💃🏽👏🏻🫶🏻✍️🏻✨️

I've done some organizing this week, and I came across these magazines my work has been featured in! I do like purging of things no longer needed, but I also like special keepsakes. These will be sticking around ✍️🏻🗞🤸🏼‍♀️💃🏼

Recently, I have found my love for dance once again. After intense ankle surgery in 2022, my body and mind felt broken and my love for this art form had diminished. After a confrontation of my mental health and an active attempt to find myself again, I’m so grateful to recognize my return to my home through dance. Thank you to @comovelab for creating a new home for me and for dance. And thank you to @stephrwolf for this wonderful photo!
