🍁YOU PICK EM CHALLENGE 👻

Runs from October 1st November 30th   Stephanie and I were brainstorming different ideas on something we wanted to do together.
Wa-la the You Pick Em Challenge came to be. 
This is a way to ensure that we are reading not only what we want but also upcoming ARCs.

We have two sets of templates to pick from – one is cozy, fall like and the other is dark & haunting.
The books must have a fall theme which is listed on the slides. 

Blank templates can be found in our stories (then highlights) and incase you want to use IG grid templates they are on the following slides.

We are going to pick 2 winners for either a Zon or Bookshop gift card. You get an entry for every book you complete by Nov 30th. Use your board to either check off what you completed or to show off the ones you finished. 
Bonus Entries: • if you share your planned TBR (tag us) • if you share this post and comment with a 🎃

turns 2!!!! 🥹💜‼️ how surreal, that the account I made on a whim in the middle of the night (😅) is a whole two years old today! I sign off my posts with a “thank you for being here” because I truly mean it; the joy & gratitude I feel because of the people in my life thanks to this page is insurmountable. how lucky am I to be here with so many beautiful souls who love the same books & write the words that have changed my world?! 💕 thank you THANK YOU for being here with me 🥰

That’s a Wrap on the 2026 Well Read Women’s Weekend 📚 A short but sweet getaway in Riviera Maya, Mexico. I welcomed the girls with a goody bag fitted with @hannahloganbooks first published novel. PS Hannah the girls are loving it! We had a late night bookish bingo, @drluciawoods won the prize! Friday everyone had their own relaxing day filled with reading, pool time, spa time, beach time, whatever filled their hearts! Then we had a group dinner Mexican BBQ fiesta on the beach with delightful entertainment. Saturday was choose your own adventure, most of the girlie pops headed with me to Maroma Beach Club to swim in the beautiful ocean, eat amazing Mexican food, read a bunch of pages, and snorkel off the catamaran. Our farewell dinner didn’t go as planned but it made a funny story. I revealed the 2027 location to the group before bidding them farewell Sunday morning. This retreat was a silly idea I had where I just wanted to read for a whole weekend and talk about books with other likeminded women. My heart is so full seeing the connections made and the happy memories they are taking with them 🥰 If this seems like something you would be interested in stay tuned- reveal coming Friday!

✨philly author love ✨ When someone asks where I’m from, I always proudly say Philly. It’s home to great food, the best sports teams (go birds!) and some of my favorite authors! When I picked up the cutest Philly bookish tote from @cupidsbookshop, I knew I had to do a little flat lay with some recent and upcoming books from Philly authors 🫶 ❤️Poisoned Ivy by @authoravarani (going trad next year!) ❤️ Pot Shot by @laurapiperlee (one of the funniest books I’ve read this year!) ❤️ Back for Seconds by @bettycorrello (I’m so excited to go back to Evergreen!) ❤️ One Last Thing Before You Go by @carolinefrankwrites (I am obsessed with this cover!) ❤️ Wish You Weren’t Here by @christyschillig (this is set where I studied abroad in Italy!) ❤️ My Italian Vampire by B.C. Dolce (aka @bettycorrello - one of the most fun paranormal romances I read this year!) This is just one very small subset of Philly authors! There are so many more that I love (@rosiedanan! @nishawrites! @xioaxelrod! @kristinaforest_! @cwolfbooks!) and love to support. I also have so many local Bookstagram friends that I love 🫶 QoTD: Who’s your favorite local-to-you author?
