I am thrilled to announce that our animated short film Fido is finally done and ready for the film festival circuit. We took a very successful short script and visualized it with a 2D & 3D mixed media technique.

Many thanks to all the Fido project team members located in Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, and the USA. Thank you all for your hard work and expertise over the last year and a half.

BTS: 2D Animation, 3D Backgrounds, & Voice Overs (sound on):
Moving forward from my last post on Character Designs, we then secure the voice overs for each character. Using those voice overs and the storyboards, we begin the 2D Animation process. Simultaneously our 3D artist are creating the backgrounds (I know this is oversimplifying what is actually many steps and hours from our team).
IN THE LAST CLIP: you can see all of these BTS tasks come together. I am proud of the team and excellent progress so far!

Here’s a peek at “The Lawyer’s Office” — a key scene in One Prick where everything starts to unravel.

This is the moment the inheritance is revealed… and confusion sets in. The tone is quiet, tense, and just weird enough to make you lean in.

A first look at “The Wake” — one of the most emotional (and awkward) scenes in One Prick.

This storyboard shows how we’re starting to shape the tone, blocking, and pacing of the moment. Grief, tension, and a dash of dark humor all come to life here—before we ever hit record.
