HOCO formal- part 3
Friends

Yes, we drive back 2 1/2 hours to Argyle quite often! We made a promise that when we moved to East Texas, we would get our son back to his friends and his girlfriend as much as we could with our schedule. The people there that he has connected with are his lifelong friends and honestly some of the best kids you could have picked for best friends. They all get along so well and they all go to the same school now, Coramdeo Academy. Although Trace is homeschooled in East Texas, they’ve all remained friends and are such great hosts and have him in their homes and welcome him with open arms each time. We are so grateful for those relationships and the parents who help make this happen each time.

These are the best days of their lives right now and it’s so fun to watch it play out. Everyone looked beautiful and all the guys looked so cool. We know they had a blast and we can’t wait to come back and visit again. It makes Trace’s day/week! We are so grateful to the Lord for bringing amazing relationships in his life to live and learn with.

They all made it to the dance safely and had a great night, screaming at the top of their lungs, their favorite songs and jumping up and down. Haha. They did some kind of after party and Trace didn’t get home till 1:30 AM. I would say that’s a fun night!

The make up of your kids friends is so important during this phase of life. These are super awesome young adults who love Jesus and we are proud that he is part of their friend group still to this day. Thank you to all the kids for being so great to our son.

Special shout to his girlfriend Kenzie and her family for working so closely with us to make these trips a success!

HOCO part 2- cutest couple

These two lovebirds- friends for 1.5 years and officially boyfriend and girlfriend this month. They care deeply for each other and keep Jesus #1 in their lives. I love how close they are to their families and we disciple each other’s kids. Young love- so sweet. Especially these two!

So glad they had fun…they look awesome and we love their love for one another and the Lord.

Trace’s first HOCO date!🏈♥️

Trace planned it, shopped for it, helped make the sign and was an upstanding young man! He picked a wonderful friend to share this occasion with. Can’t wait to see them all dressed up! We loved her reaction and can’t wait to make some memories.

Homecoming: Asking the girl

This is all new to me as a momma! When your son comes home and has grand ideas on how to ask a girl to Homecoming and a dance! What do we do? We go BIG. (But not too big) haha

The cheerleader in me came out to make this sign with the family, but it was all Trace’s ideas! It was a family affair. The boys did the shopping because I was in Dallas shopping for the mum. (That’s a whole other story to come)

It all paid off! She said yes and both families are super excited for them to enjoy HOCO together! Games, mums, a dance and forever memories. Yay

We dropped off our First Born and a piece of my heart 🩷🩷in Aggieland this weekend. To say that I am proud and excited to watch her SOAR is an understatement! I stand amazed at God's tenderness in preparing her (and me🤣🤣🤣) for this moment! My heart is FULL knowing that God has her and will use her mightily in College Station. Every Season is My Favorite with you 💜Kaylee Elizabeth!! The Best is Yet to Come! You are Beloved. You are His Masterpiece! We will always here for you; cheering you along every step of the way!
