Welcome to the new hit musical “MOVE MORE CHAIRS” 🪑🪑🪑where you’ll never guess where this cast of 12 will be moving their chairs next!! ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️ Well sweet JAYSUS in da garden! Our time on the Rock was a wild ride. I covered 3 tracks and went on for 2 of them. It’s truly such an honour to be a part of telling this true story and to portray real people (still gives me chills when I think about it) I’ll keep it 💯 for you, no one can prepare you for being a standby. It sometimes feels thankless and gruelling and the audience doesn’t get to see all the work that goes on behind the scenes. With the many line runs, living room performances, show nightmares, premonitions (I predicted going on for Janice in a nightmare 😂) and sooo sooooo much caffeine… all 4 of us Standb’ys made it. This cast, crew and creative team is brilliant and never let us feel unsupported or alone. I really learned to let go and accept that mistakes are okay (and welcomed!!) and that perfection is boring. I even started to feel… (*GASP*) confidence in myself and what I can do!! 😱 Until next time ye Newfoundlander B’ys! 🫡 Let’s continue to make some beautiful mistakes!! #comefromaway #welcometotherock #vancouvertheatre #gander #understudy

Farewell, you Newfoundlander b’ys! After 93 performances (91 for me!), we closed Come From Away at the Arts Club in Vancouver - the Western Canadian Premiere of this beautiful show. Over the course of this run, we got to share this story with over 30,000 patrons (which also means I’ve officially flashed over 30,000 people… ?!?) Janice has been a dream role of mine for such a long time, so getting to finally bring her to life - in my first Equity production and my Arts Club debut - has been one of the most special experiences of my career so far. I’ll be forever grateful that this was the story and the character that marked such a huge milestone for me. I’m going to miss this company more than I can say. There is no one else I would have rather spent hundreds and hundreds of hours rehearsing and performing with. Sharing the stage with this ridiculously talented, generous, and star-studded cast has been an absolute honour. And while this chapter is closing for now, thankfully I don’t have to say goodbye to my favourite reporter just yet - in 2027, I’ll be stepping back into my scuffed-up velcro heels and back onto The Rock. I genuinely cannot wait. Until then, thank you, Come From Away. Thank you, Vancouver. And thank you to every single person who came through those doors and shared in this story. Heave away! Currently backstage after finishing our 30th show! Come From Away has been one of my favourite musicals for years now, and I truly have to pinch myself every night that I get to play my dream role in one of my dream shows! The opportunity to perform such a beautiful story eight shows a week - to thousands of incredible audience members with this outstanding cast - trying to soak up every second. Grateful that the first 30 performances have been so wonderful, even more grateful that we have over 50 shows left. WE ALL COME FROM AWAY !!!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Adam, Flora, and I saw the @theartsclub production of Come From Away this evening and it was PHENOMENAL!!!! I literally wanna see it again, it was so so SO fun and fresh, I loved seeing what the differences were to the Broadway version. I absolutely adored this cast and I adored hanging out with my friends 💜💜💜
