Round 1 complete. Next week- Monday or Tuesday- teams will face off in round 2 of the CHSAA playoffs to earn a spot at Wednesdays Championship. Iona will travel to St Peters and St Francis will come back to Westchester to play our Stepinac Crusaders for the second time this year. Iona and Peters both won their respective matches in round 1 by a 3-2 score, Francis won 4-1 and Stepinac advanced after a 5-0 win. Stepinac, Peters, Francis all finished number 1st in their divisions, Iona 2nd, so it promises to be another round of impressive golf. The day and course for our match will be released shortly.

Finishing 1st in the hardest division in Westchester/Bronx high school golf was a great accomplishment… last week. Today starts a new pursuit of victory. Defending our CHSAA championship is what we set out to do back in March when we were lucky to have alumni and friends get us a running start during 10 days in Florida at top courses.
