From a stock room setback to running his own studio and brand, Nick Sergiou, founder of Step With Serg, proves that with the right support, you can achieve what you set your mind and heart into. 👟✨   Nick’s path wasn’t straightforward. After being unable sell a shoe in his very first job interview, he ended up in the stock room instead, far from where he’d one day land. But that moment planted a seed. By 2023, he’d left employment altogether to build Step With Serg full-time: a professional shoe, bag and hat cleaning, repairs and customisation brand.   Later that year, Nick joined Launch It Neasden, securing his own studio space and getting consistent support every step of the way to build his business including 1:1 advice, mentoring, training, networking and access to funding opportunities. Along the journey, he gave back too, using a Launch It Labs grant to donate 1,000 pairs of shoes to people experiencing homelessness.   Since completing our two-year incubation programme earlier this year, Nick has now transitioned into a commercial tenancy at the centre and is building his next chapter: workshops, new partnerships and a stronger foothold in the market. 🚀   Stories like Nick’s are why we do what we do; a real proof that entrepreneurship can be a viable pathway for young people. If you’d like to help us support more young people to build something of their own, let’s chat: launchit.org.uk/partnerships. 💛   #FounderLife #YouthEntrepreneurship #SocialImpact

More moments from The Pitch Off held at Launch It Neasden, capturing a little more of what made the day so special. 📸✨   This is what community and belief in young people actually looks like in action. Congratulations again to all the pitch winners! 💪🏽   Events like this are only possible because people choose to invest in young entrepreneurs; their time, their expertise, their funding, their belief. The Pitch Off at Launch It Neasden was a resounding success! 🚀✨ We are so proud of these talented founders from our London hubs who battled it out for a share of £2K funding to put into building/growing their business, and the standard was incredible. After some serious deliberation, here are your winners: 🥇 Serene Azu, SMA Hair UK, who delivered a brilliant pitch to take the grand prize 🥈 Kelly Arekion, Shop Galactica 🥉 Nick Sergiou, Step With Serg 🎖️ Sumayah Richards, Sumofia & Eve Bawuah, Evie’s Treats   Huge congrats, everyone! Standing up to pitch your business takes real courage and every one of you did an outstanding job.   A huge thank you to everyone who made the day so special: 🎙️ Our host, trustee Rupert Tyer 👏🏽 Our CEO, Amber Wright, for welcoming everyone and sharing about our work & impact 🌟 Special guest alumna Mary Otumahana, who built her multi-award-winning CIC, The RecShop, with Launch It’s backing more than a decade ago and continuing to be a shining example of what this support can do 🤝 Our pitch coaches, who shared their expertise before the live pitches: Joyce Green, Richard Kelly, Mary Otumahana, Hamish Roberts and Charles Skinner ⚖️ Our pitch judges: David Thompson, James Wilding and Esther Godwins, a former Tottenham Launch Iteer who is now one of our trustees   Programmes like this remind us why we do what we do. With over a million young people in the UK not in education, employment or training, entrepreneurship can be a powerful pathway to a better future, but it needs backing to grow.💛 👉🏽 If you’re a funder, partner or supporter believes in backing the next generation of business founders and would like to help us create more opportunities like this, we’d love to hear from you. Blessed to return to our roots, to where it all first began. This time, we were grateful to bring some of our young people with us to serve and give back. After speaking with many individuals living on the streets, it became clear that there is a real need right now for blankets, tents, and warm clothing, especially during this time of year. Thank you to everyone that contributed, cooked and volunteered. If you have any items you would like us to hand out, or if you would like to donate towards the cause, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. 🤍

Brands use card bags for hand deliveries to add a personal touch to their service. These bags are usually stylish and can be customized with the brand’s logo or message, making the delivery more memorable for the recipient. They are useful because they provide a more professional and polished look to the delivery, enhancing the overall brand image. Additionally, card bags can protect the contents inside from damage during transportation, ensuring that the items arrive in good condition. Overall, using card bags for hand deliveries is a great way for brands to make a positive impression and stand out from the crowd. 🛍️ Our regular Client @solereviversuk UK 🇬🇧 . . . #Ayeshapaperbags #Paperbags #Cardbags #Branding
