There’s something special about being on the campus of @sterlingcollege each week for Wednesday morning chapel.
I’m thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside students, invest in leaders, have conversations, ask questions, encourage, challenge, and sometimes simply listen.
Iron sharpening iron. Watching @sc_spiritual_life do what they do, and working along side them, Being challenged, encouraged, stretched, and reminded that we were never meant to do this work alone.
Grateful for a campus that isn’t just a place to serve, but a place where God continues to sharpen all of us.
Singing and praising the Lord with student-athletes from all across the nation and even the world… @sterlingcsports @sterlingcxctf @sterlingcfootball @sterlingcvolleyball @sterlingcmbb @sterlingcwbb @sterlingcswim @sterlingcbsb

⚔️Welcome Warrior Friday⚔️

Meet the newest member of Warrior Nation!

👋🏻 Welcome @thasanee_16 from Wichita,KS - Health Science major

FUN fact: “I played six sports throughout my childhood”

⚔️Why did you choose Sterling College?
I chose Sterling College because of the people and the Christ-Centered education I can get. My first time at Sterling for basketball recruiting it was easy to connect with the girls and coaches and that made the decision easy.

We are so excited to have you in Warrior Nation, Thasanee!

first i would like to thank God for everything, despite the hard times, lack of faith that i couldn’t make it this far; he has really moved in my life and i am forever grateful for that. i’m beyond blessed and excited to announce my verbal commitment to sterling college to continue both my academic and basketball career.

thank you to my parents for both believing in me, giving me endless support/love, and for the consistent prayers that i could make it this far. thank you for your time and patience with getting me from place to place, whether it being practice, games, or tournaments; you always made sure i got where i needed to be.

thank you to my school coaches, coach mcdaris, coach stephens, and coach miers for believing in me, always being there for me when i needed someone, and for the constant challenging to make me better.

(thank you tonia mcdaris for all your love and support you have given not only just to me, but my whole team as well; we are all thankful for you!)

thank you to my aau coach dale for putting up with me the past two years. thank you for giving me opportunities when i couldn’t always provide them for myself, the constant belief and faith that i would grow as an athlete, and treating me as if i was your own! i’m grateful for the car rides where drake was being blasted all the way there and back (only if we won the last game or it would’ve been silent going home), the memories made with you, caitlin, dayiah, dalen, and damo. i’ll forever and always be thankful for you and your family! i love you all! cpg forever!

thank you to all my teammates i’ve ever had! both my school and aau teammates! you all gave me my confidence and constantly pushed me to better day by day each practice! i’m forever grateful for all our memories good and bad because there were always lessons that made us grow together even stronger!

lastly, thank you to coach belk and coach bk, for the amazing opportunity i got at the camp and at the visit. thank you for giving me this opportunity to play at the next level and to play the sport i love! i’m excited to be a lady warrior! ⚔️❤️💙
