We supported Sterling in the Antigua Milt Coggins JGAA JR World Qualifier 2-Day tourney at Papago GC. Among 65 15-18 yr olds, Sterling tied for 2nd place. His goal has been to hit the podium (top 3) 5+ times before he moves up to the Boys Championship League. We get to add one more podium WIN onto has score card🎉 We had such a good time with our friends, Kyle McCain and his son Karsten—who won the tourney with a score of -5!🥳 We cheer on all these boys! GOLF IS HARD!!! It’s worth celebrating when someone makes golf look easy!! And Karsten is just easy to love😉

🎉HS State Championship 2025🎉
Sterling walked away with 9 Birdies during the 2-Day Tourney. He landed 13th place in the state as a Sophomore🎉 We couldn’t be more proud. His SHS team means the world to him. It was an emotional end to a great high school season! Sure love all these boys and their families. Thank you Greg Brimhall for taking these boys to so many matches and tourneys around AZ! What a great experience! These young men finished as Region Champs, and @sterling_moore_golf came in at #1. Thank you to all the family that came to support Sterling and the Lobos!! #shsgolf #shsgolfteam #snowflakehigh #snowflakehighschool

The experiences our son, Sterling, has had on the SHS Varsity Golf Team this year are priceless. These golfers are quality young men who have earned our respect. We love them and their parents. It’s been so enjoyable watching them work hard, struggle & grow throughout the year—and NOT just in their sport! They’ve become good friends. I appreciate what team sports do for our family. We are part of something bigger than ourselves. Discipline is necessary for success. Managing rage, balancing emotions & learning how to be more than just a winner…learning how NOT to be a poor loser! Learning to never quit. Strong character is built in the hardest moments! I love what comes AFTER the struggle…even if it’s just minuscule success! Baby steps to patience…and larger achievements! It’s all worth it!
P.S. the “Green Jacket” is awarded to the member who gets the best/lowest score each time they play White Mountain Golf Course. It’s a cool new tradition⛳️
