Big IRL post on my cosplay page, but after the last two nights I HAD to make this. @smanifesto played their last two big shows until 2021 this week at their home venue, Starland Ballroom. As a band, Streetlight is my all time favorite band, and got me through a lot of dark places in high school. I've made more friends through their shows than I ever thought possible, and last night I knew what I had to do. I waited after the show, in 10 degree weather with nothing but a sleeveless tank and my Shoprite jacket for two hours, and met nearly the entire band. While I love all of them dearly, the last person I saw that night was the highlight: the man himself, @tohkay . Being able to talk to him, have him take pics and sign CDs and actually hug the man was something I never thought I'd be able to do. Everything he's done has helped me become a better person, surround myself with great people, and have an overall better life. So, thank you Streetlight, and to all the friends I've made thanks to them, I love y'all, and I can't wait to see what comes next. Here's to Life.
