Armadillos, alligators, and some nomads in the wild! We loved sharing one of our favorite Florida spots with some of our vanlife friends!

👉 See more of this amazing place in our latest YouTube travel vlog: (via link in bio)

📍 We love Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Florida because it offers a thriving habitat for an incredible array of wildlife. Nestled along the northwest shore of Lake Hancock in Polk County, this 1,267-acre preserve, once a cattle ranch, has been beautifully restored to its natural wetland state making it an ecological treasure with its Freshwater Marshes, Hardwood Swamps, Oak Hammocks, Pine Flatwoods, and lake ecosystems.

🚐 Follow us for low budget #vanlife, #cheaptravel, nature, wildlife sightings, and some humor! In 2020, we bought an empty 2019 Ford Transit cargo van and spent the next 2.5 years working to convert the van into a tiny home on wheels while also traveling whenever we could. In 2023, we sold our home and went full time! We've been sharing our experience as we travel the country on a low budget with our cat Lady Gray Gray Gillespie Pinkerton. Priority every morning ….Coffee before anything else! And when travelling with others, we soon find out who the other coffee lovers are. Maybe Gertie needs a side hustle! 🥰

Drive-thru window is open! ☕️☕️

💕 What a great way to spend Valentine’s Day. Thanks Audra for the super suggestion to go to Honeymoon Island State Park. Better when we’re together, plus, I found my first sand dollars. #floridastateparks #florida #bettertogether #sanddollar #caravan #vanlifeflorida #campervanlife #vanfam #beachvibes #valentines #sharing #treatbags #valentinesday #friends #everystatepark

From spending Valentine’s Day collecting sand dollars at Honeymoon Island State Park to chilling at Homosassa Springs State Park to wandering aimlessly around Rainbow Springs State Park. It just wouldn’t have been so much fun if we didn’t share these beautiful moments with our awesome vanlife friends! 🥰🥰

We’re definitely making good use of our State Park membership. So many Springs and Wildlife sanctuaries and museums to visit. Living in nature is good for our mind, body and soul. #blessedlife

🚐💫 VanLife community is so important! So many amazing experiences we had caravanning which sealed a lifelong friendship with Steve and Audra and so many others. We didn’t realize how important a Vanlife community was and we didn’t know how marvelous Florida was. Thanks Steve and Audra! 🥰
Steve and Audra have a great YouTube channel documenting their vanlife adventures on a budget. We had subscribed to their channel several months back and we discovered we had a lot in common with their journey. We built our own vans (yay Team Transit) at the same time, went part time to full time traveling just weeks apart, we’re balancing work with adventuring and so much more!

We crossed paths at VanFestUSA in this video and after following them digitally, we literally “followed” them around Florida after the van festival. Memories for a lifetime!

🦛 Rare to see. Lu the hippo is an aging actor enjoying retirement in Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. We had the special opportunity, on his 64th birthday, to see him out and about, eating, flinging dung and taking cat naps, ahemm, hippo naps. Seemingly laughing after pooping and peeing, we learned that hippopotamuses mark their territory by spinning their tales and flinging dung all over. —- Many other mammals and birds can be observed throughout the accessible park including watching manatees being fed, alligators, a black bear, and a plethora of rehabilitated eagles and other birds and more. All were well cared for. 🚐Discovering divine nature through people and places with our DIY campervan, Mr Knightley. ✨ We’re on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube ✨ #hippo #hippopoo #hippoheaven #happyhippo #hippolaugh #funnyanimals #cuteanimals #poop #hippopatamus #luthehippo #caredfor #rarebeauty #zoo #specialbirthday #catnap #florida #thingstodoinflorida #floridastateparks #homosassasprings #floridasprings #everystatepark #usstateparks #exploremore #ustravel #chasing70degrees #vanlifeflorida #vanlife #vanlifediaries #goodnighttrail

I love meeting vanlifers “in real life”

Events like @peacelovevans create an awesome experience to meet others on the road.

I met so many amazing people that now they are part of my “Vanmily” ❤️
