🇧🇷BRUNO SOARES was simply phenomenal during our 🖥️ ZOOM SESSION today 💯.
He had such a meaningful & powerful message to share with the kids and I'm completely certain that the impact of our talk will generate amazing results. 💪

His humility is so refreshing and his desire to share his knowledge and passion about the game truly is encouraging. 🙏🎾🏆🥇
Also a shout out to another legend, Coach Walter Preidikman who was the guest speaker of our first ZOOM Session and joined in the talk today as well‼️

👏‼️EXCITING NEWS‼️👏 I wanted to share with all of my friends & people that have always encouraged me to grow and take on challenges in life, that in the past few days I have been blessed with two amazing news. 🙏💯
.
.
After 1 year working with UTA and having literally one of the most fulfilling & meaningful years of my career, I have been offered a DIRECTORSHIP position to run Bitsy Grant Tennis Center in Buckhead, Atlanta. I feel so humbled and honored to be entrusted with this position and I am excited to help UTA grow and expand even more. I've met so many amazing coaches and families this past year and they had such a big impact and participation in my promotion. They made me a better coach and motivated me to keep growing. I love my new family and can't wait to embark upon this journey with all 6 partners and my other fellow directors 🎾🌏🥇
.
.
On a different note & just as exciting, I have accepted a DIRECTORSHIP position with AYTEF (Atlanta Youth Tennis & Education Foundation), a nonprofit organization whose mission is "to promote the mental and physical development of underserved youth through tennis and education." Tennis has given me so much for decades and it has truly changed my life and it is now time for me to pour myself into helping others and give back by mentoring and leading kids and families that yearn for opportunities like the ones I had when I was young kid working as a ball boy back in Brazil.
So thankful to God for the amazing year He gave me and I look forward to an even more exciting 2020. 🎉💪🎉💪

Blast from the past 😂🤣😅
Thanks to Renato Villaça ( @renatovillaca) for sending me this "treasure". GC&SU Team at the Peach Belt Conference Tournament in 2005.

Miss that group 😔 Had some of the best years of my life playing and coaching at Georgia College.

I FEEL HONORED TO BE PART OF THIS AMAZING COMPANY & TO WORK FOR AND WITH SOME OF THE BEST PEOPLE I'VE EVER MET IN MY LIFE.
💯🔥🎾🌍 Marcelo Ferreira is one of our most passionate and talented pros at UTA!🏆🎾
A Brazilian native, Marcelo grew up in Sao Paulo and graduated from Georgia College & State University (GCSU) in 2006. After finishing his undergraduate degree, Marcelo spent five seasons at Texas Tech University as an assistant coach before being promoted to associate head coach where he was twice named the ITA Texas Region Assistant Coach of the Year. Under Marcelo’s leadership, his team made FIVE consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances from 2008 to 2012 and his teams finished being ranked in the ITA top 25 an unprecedented four times. Marcelo was later hired as Pepperdine Men’s Tennis Head Coach. He helped lead rising senior Alex Sarkissian (former top 150 ATP) to become the third player in program history to reach the finals of the NCAA Singles Championship.

Not many academies can pride themselves for having coaches with so much experience, but we’re most proud to have coaches like Marcelo with such a love for people and love for the game of tennis. #UTATennisATL
