Virginia Beach recap 🌊

Not quite the results I was hoping for. A tough one in mixed that definitely stings a little, but that’s sports. On to the next!

Had a great time sharing the court with 13 year old Elsie in women’s doubles. She played well and has so much potential! Excited to see where this game takes her. 🙌
We even got to make an appearance together on @foxandfriends which was a pretty cool experience! 📺😄

But one of the highlights of the week had nothing to do with results. My very first pickleball partners, Martin and Tammy, were both there for their last tournament. Martin got to compete one final time, while Tammy, who’s getting ready to welcome baby number two, was cheering from the sidelines with their daughter Gabi. ❤️

Pretty crazy to think these two were there when my pickleball journey first started, and now I got to be there as they close that chapter.

Virginia Beach, thanks for the memories!

Can you believe I’ve played with 28 different partners in only 1 year?! A lot for 1 year as a pro?? Would love to hear what you think!!

🚨📺🏓 PICKLEBALL VIRGINIA BEACH TAKES THE NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT! 🎥🔥

What an AMAZING morning at Pickleball Virginia Beach as FOX & Friends co-host Steve Doocy joined us LIVE from the PPA Tour Mojo Energy Pouches Virginia Beach Open! 🎉🙌

Steve stepped onto the court and traded some points with an incredible women's doubles duo — 13-year-old rising star Elsie Hendershot and Tina Pisnik, a former Top 30 WTA tennis star from Slovenia! 🇸🇮🏓 With a 32-year age difference, these two are proving that age is just a number! They're already making waves on the pro pickleball circuit and have their sights set on an even BIGGER dream — THE OLYMPICS! 🥇🌎🔥

And here's a fun twist! 😎🎸 Steve shared that he's been sharpening his pickleball skills with none other than his neighbor, KID ROCK! 🎶🏓 Steve even mentioned he'd love to return next year to compete in the amateur tournament!

So naturally, we have ONE question… STEVE DOOCY & KID ROCK AS A DOUBLES TEAM IN 2027?! 🤔😂🔥 Hey, we're just throwing the idea out there! 😉

💙💛 A HUGE THANK YOU to FOX & Friends, Steve Doocy, our amazing PPA pros, and everyone who came out to support us! What an incredible opportunity to showcase our facility, our players, and the amazing pickleball community here in Virginia Beach to the entire country!

📺 DID YOU MISS IT? THE SEGMENT WILL AIR AGAIN TOMORROW, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17!

🏓🔥 VIRGINIA BEACH PICKLEBALL IS MAKING WAVES! 🌊🎉
