Photo dump from LA and Vegas tour with our (still nameless) trio with Agata on accordion and Lihi on violin! I really enjoy playing with these girls, as well as losing in the casino with them
Big thanks to @jerusalem_academy_conservatory for organizing and funding the trip

It was such an honor to attend an Art Center alumni event a few weeks ago at Steve Hitter's The Mattress studio in LA! And to see my friend Spencer Nikosey talk about the product company he started @killspencer while attending @artcenteredu and the evolution of it over the past 15 years. He's an incredible designer, and I'm so proud to be his friend and to see how far he's come! His factory is based in LA (yay- local products!), and he makes high quality bags and leather products. I can't believe I didn't take pics with anyone! Ahhhhh! (Bad photographer 😆)

We used to do collaboration projects together back in college, and he even designed my first business card! If I can find some pics, I'll post them.

Thank you to the many fans of Syd Mead (BS 59) and “Blade Runner” who experienced our renovated Ahmanson Auditorium last week!

Syd’s partner, Roger Servick shared that Syd credited his ArtCenter Transportation Design education to be able to excel in designing on such complicated assignments such as the concept work on Ridley Scott’s film.

We were proud to feature speakers - alumni Steven Poster, ASC (BFA 66 Photo) and Mark Stetson’s (78 Product) who shared the work they did on “Blade Runner” which helped launch their career.

And thanks to Roger’s generosity in donating Syd’s Sentury II books, we were able to raise over $4,000 towards the Strother MacMinn Endowed Scholarship which supports the next generation of Transportation Design students. Link in bio to find out more.

Great to see our alumni and special guests again! Let’s do it again! Let us know what you want to do or see next.

#DidYouKnow Exercises play an important role in strengthening our muscles and bones, and reducing the risk of several heart-related diseases. However, these become more vital as we age.

When we get older our muscles weaken and we become more susceptible to certain types of injuries. With falls being a leading cause of injury in senior citizens, the importance of balance training cannot be overstated. Balance training is particularly crucial for seniors as it is the best way to stay active and prevent falls. It can help senior citizens in retaining their independence and improving their overall health and mobility.
