Just another Tuesday night in the city I love! Check out the Bayou Bar at The Ponchartrain Hotel on St Charles Ave. Players on this particular night were: Peter Harris on Bass, Steve Masakowski on Guitar, Tony Dagradi on Horns, and Stanton Moore on Drums. Arguably the four top players in their field and in the world! NO COVER CHARGE. However there is a Venmo QR Code at each table to pay/tip the band whatever you feel is appropriate. Only in Nola! I highly recommend checking it out even if you’re a local! #theponchartrainhotel #thebayoubar #worldclass #jazz www.nolashirts.com

Duo plus some very special guests and friends of mine sitting in w us. Original tunes, standards, lots of stories in between and maybe a sunset hang on the beach afterwards 🌅

A few shots by @mingsiebertharts from “Mars Revisited” Friday at @snugjazz_nola. Had a great time playing with these guys, some of the OG fusion GOATs that continue to push limits.

I really wanted to make a music video for this track from Two Worlds album (link in bio!) but I wasn’t sure what the concept should be or how to approach it so I walked to the beach for some inspo and saw this kite and thought, oh! this is it. It’s a love song. To a tentacled kiteopus.

This is one of my favorite ballads ever written - A Love Song by legendary New Orleans drummer, composer James Black (with lyrics by me)

Enjoy ✨ 🐙

Feat. Brian Blade on drums, Oscar Rossignoli on piano and my OG family Steve Masakowski on guitar and Martin Masakowski on bass. Full song available wherever u like to listen to music.

The highlight of my week by far was getting to sit in with Johnny V, Joe Ashlar and Steve Masakowski at the Maple Leaf on Thursday. I’m endlessly grateful for this music community, I learn something new everyday from these cats❤️
