Someone asked me the other day, “Do you still love BMX?”

Still? 😂

After all these years, all the places it’s taken me, the people I’ve met ,the tricks I’ve learned, the riders I’ve coached and everything this little bike has given me and still continues to…

Yeah. I love BMX. ❤️🚲

Always have. Always will.

Send a message to someone who says they love BMX but you know they’re faking it 😐

They might just need a gentle slap back to their senses. 😂

What a spot. This is @stevemccann around ‘01 somewhere in Australia. I’ve had so much fun on every Australia trip l’ve been on. So many cool riders and places to see. #bmx #australiabmx #loseyphoto

Today was one for the books! 🤘🚲

I got to hit the track with 2x BMX X Games gold medalist @stevemccann Huge thanks for taking the time to teach me some new tricks and help me level up. I’m leaving with more confidence, more motivation, and a big smile.

Can’t wait for the next session! 👊🔥

I thought this was TJ Lavin in Australia ‘03, but it’s not. My memory may be foggy, but I do remember that these trips were amazing. I got to go to Australia many times, and @stevemccann is actually the one who started it for me. Thank you! #bmx #bmxdirt #ridebmx #loseyphoto

I grew up in Northern Illinois, and my friends and I were amazed when we met someone from a different state who rode BMX. Fast forward a few decades and I’ve been able to meet endless BMXers from around the globe. These are just a few photos to illustrate my point. I never would have known that any of these guys existed if it weren’t for bikes and cameras. This @a369k in Dagenham, @jasonenns in the desert, @jamiebestwick in PA, Eduardo Torerros (Spanish Fly) in Palavas, @alex_donnachie and @krisskyle in Glasgow, @simontabron in Utah, Jason Phelan in Dagenham, @bowie82 in Los Angeles, @danieldhers in Portland, Jason Davies in Hermosa Beach, John Heaton in AZ, @stevemccann in Utah, @shoeg in Malaysia, @simobarraco in Baton Rouge, @colinmackaybmx in the trees, and @andyzeiss and @achimkujawski in Hastings. #bmx #loseyphoto

March.

Worked a lot. Had a lot of fun. First flight since 2024. First time visiting San Diego and the Eastern Sierras.

Had too many “small world” moments in places I’d never been.

Got to see friends I haven’t seen in way too long, and make some new ones that I’m really grateful for. @mykellarrin @stevemccann @thelifeofjj

Got to witness people push themselves in a way that never surprises me, given their character, even if it surprises them. @commonrunning

Got to ride my bike in a lot of cool places and try to go upside down. @mutinybikes @profile_racing

Got to enjoy an NHL game in DC and had an absolute blast with the team. @zack9er @zachhibbs

But most of all, I tried to enjoy all the moments I could, even if they brought me stress in some form. After visiting California, I finally could see a little bit more of what I want out of life. Moving forward, I’m going to actively try to get out of my own way.

Grateful for the journey, and anyone that comes along on the way. Love y’all.

Here’s a batch of photos that may not look like they go together, but they do to me. Mike Escamilla preparing to flip a helicopter. Kevin Dana and Troy McMurray at the first Chipotle. John Povah making moves. Butcher laughing at one of my great jokes. (Keith Mulligan is trying hard not to laugh.) The stable at Dave Mirra’s house. And Daniel Dhers, Steve McCann, and a name I’m forgetting on the other side of the planet. #bmx #ridebmx #loseyphoto
