I struggled SO hard with 3s 😩

When I first decided to learn them, I legit could not get past a 180.

(This was 3 days before the filming of this clip actually)

I spent 3 days just doing 180s not understanding how to bring it to forward.

I’d pop, spin, and just… land switch every single time.

I kept thinking “why can’t I just do another 180??” and it drove me nuts 😭

This was right around the time I met @ianosby 💘

And listen… the first time we rode the lift together I genuinely thought he was the best skier on the entire mountain just by his bindings 😳 (the full story is in another reel if you wanna dive into that)

So I asked him how the heck to bring the 360 all the way around.

I told him I kept trying but my body would NOT turn past 180.

He looked at me and just said:

“JUST KEEP LOOKING.” 👀👀

So I did. Got off the lift… tried again… and landed it FIRST TRY 😳

THIS clip in the reel is actually my very first attempt at a 3 after getting off the lift from meeting him.

If you’re struggling like I was, tell yourself before you drop that you will KEEP LOOKING for your landing. Keep turning your head. Keep spotting the landing.
