Finally sharing my short film, PODS, on YouTube. I made it a few years back, screened it, but never shared it with the world.
At the time, I had Psychodrama by @santandave on repeat, and one line hit so hard I wanted to bring it to life. When I started asking questions, I learned that s*icide was one of the biggest killers for black men. Mental health is reallll.

But there’s something the verse doesn’t say. We can’t choose to live just so other people can be okay. We have to choose to live for ourselves, simply because we matter.
You matter. It’s as simple as that.

PODS premieres on YouTube, 8th October, 7:30 pm. Link in bio.

PEANUT HEAD (SHORT FILM TRAILER)

Starring @MunyaChawawa

‘Cracking Soon’

Written & Directed by Ehsan Bhatti @cooksdj

PEANUT HEAD is an offbeat dark coming-of-age comedy about fitting in. P finds himself caught in the clash between the schoolyard and the dinner table. As if being a teenager wasn’t hard enough, try doing it with a weird-shaped head and an even weirder family. The odd one out wherever he turns and whoever he turns to, he’s on a mission to belong... whatever it takes!
