As one chapter of my life closes and another opens I'm in awe at how my life has changed over the years.

Some of you know this already, but my first days at Stanford were atypical to say the least. I started my journey mere weeks after my mom's passing from covid-19. A loss and grief that I didn't process during my first year, even if I told myself I did. I took a gap year to reflect on what had been a chaotic first year in college, and I took refuge with my brother reflecting on everything. In my very own Stanford essay I had written that I would study the cognitive sciences to help understand and tackle the systems that exploited my mom at her most vulnerable and although she is not here for me to give the guidance I'd sought to, I at least want to move forward with my life and career carrying the intentions I've had since then.

I've begun a new life in Santa Monica, and I'm beyond greatful to the family I chose over the years that I'm honored to call friends. To lost connections and new ones. Cheers. And to my mom, God I wish you could be here to see how far I've come. Thanks to you and the many wonderful people in my life, I do see a future ahead of me that I can be proud of.

procrastinated on this post for over a month because i wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the best four years 🌲thank you for everything, Stanford — the people, the memories, the growth. thank you for the most magical experience I could have ever asked for. i am more grateful than i can ever express. i miss you already. cardinal forever ♾❤️

The past three weeks have been something else. Started it off by sitting off a cliff in San Marino, Italy watching the sun rise. Then Florence where we enjoyed lots of Florentine Steak with @seankomar, @juliyakoma and my dad. Then New York. Then LA for AWE conference where I got to do a talk with my winning hackathon team @huangfe_ @tianda_huang and Ashley. Then me and a friend got hungry for some pastries and I accidentally turned that into a group dinner with the ICXR folks like @stevenle1337 @zadelobo @kupperpics @jellyshroom_ @vence_the_bence @nikita.x1___ @quinxie._ . Got back to mountain view straight to work then to Mendocino with @olivrqin for some good camping and then I hosted a party of my own :D

leaving these photos here so I won’t forget that random trip to SF, our deep convos, celebrating a birthday with a cold shower and karaoke till 3am, graduation filled with laughter and tears, and just being friends like we’ve known each other for decades ✨
