Today the MICHELIN Guide announced the 2026 restaurant selection for Texas. The full selection includes 149 restaurants with 30 cuisine types represented throughout— and J-Bar-M Barbecue is one of them!

“This year marks another standout year for Texas…” said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide. “Over the past three years our anonymous Inspectors have watched the culinary talent across Texas flourish and continue to push boundaries, which is evident in this year’s restaurant promotions. Congratulations to the entire restaurant selection. Your commitment to high quality and culinary excellence has been proven again and again.”

As a recommended selection, this second year recognition is even more special for Mr Toomey and the entire staff. It solidifies that our commitment to excellence wasn’t just a one time event. It’s a culture committed to providing a great experience.

In a year where we had the worlds grandest soccer festival in our backyard, where we invited award winning chefs to our platform, and where we continued serving as a community hub, food and service is always at the root of our mission.
