Yesterday, we hosted the APGFCU Financial Reality Fair at the Diamond Collective, in partnership with BUBA and Baseball 4 Causes! ⚾💎

From learning about credit, savings, and debt to building strong financial habits, this event gave local high school and college students valuable tools to help set them up for success beyond the game.

Big shoutout to everyone who helped make this event possible! 📈🙌

💰⚾️ REAL LIFE. REAL DECISIONS. REAL OPPORTUNITY.

The Digital Harbor boys got a different kind of workout at the BUBA Financial Reality Fair!

Each player was handed a “life portfolio” that gave them a monthly income, family situation, and real responsibilities. From there, they had to work their way through stations covering food, transportation, health insurance, lifestyle expenses, and everyday financial decisions.

Let’s just say… adulthood got expensive QUICK. 😂💸

But that’s what made the experience so valuable. Our guys had to think, make decisions, adjust their spending, and get a small taste of what managing real-life responsibilities looks like.

And the night went way beyond financial literacy.
Our players also had the opportunity to spend time with student-athletes from Towson University and Stevenson University. They got to talk baseball, ask questions, hear about the college experience, and simply be around young men who are currently doing something many of our players aspire to do.

That type of access matters. That mentorship matters. Those relationships matter.

We can’t thank BUBA and Diamond Collective enough for inviting Digital Harbor into the room and continuing to create meaningful opportunities for our young men. You guys have welcomed our program, believed in what we’re building, and continued to find ways to invest in our players both on and off the field.
And a huge thank you to the student-athletes and programs at Towson and Stevenson for taking the time to pour into our guys. Having college baseball players willing to talk, listen, answer questions, and be examples for the next generation is something we truly appreciate.

This is exactly what we want Digital Harbor Baseball to represent.

Last Tuesday, League of Dreams and Richcroft Inc. partnered once again for their yearly tradition: the Baseball for All event! Over 50 participants came out to learn the game of baseball through various skills clinics with volunteers, collegiate athletes, and former Major Leaguers including Mike Bordick and Adam Kolarek. The day concluded with a game and an award ceremony to celebrate everyone’s achievements. We’d like to thank Richcroft for another wonderful event and for their continued support and partnership with League of Dreams! We’d like to also give a shoutout to Stevenson University for letting us use an absolutely astonishing field in Mustang Stadium and for sending out tremendous volunteers from several of their athletic programs including softball, baseball, women’s soccer, and the No. 4 ranked field hockey! Thank you also for your continued support!

Jax - @jdog262007 - and his teammates on @stevensonbsb are required to raise $600 each as part of the fundraising push for the program which includes an early Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach. If you’re feeling in the giving mood (and if I ever donated to your kids’ fundraiser 😝) would greatly appreciate you helping these boys out. Our University Partners showed up in a BIG way during the 2025–2026 season.

Student-athletes from five university partners contributed an incredible 401 volunteer hours across 154 volunteer sessions supporting BUBA and the young people we serve.

A special thank you to:

CCBC Catonsville — 120 hours
UMBC — 109.5 hours
Lincoln University — 86 hours
Stevenson University — 73.5 hours
Notre Dame of Maryland University — 12 hours

What makes these partnerships special goes far beyond the numbers. College student-athletes are not just visitors at BUBA — they are mentors, role models, coaches, and examples of what is possible for the next generation.

Thank you to each university, athletic department, coach, and student-athlete who invested their time in Baltimore’s young people.

This is what community amplified looks like.

This A2K needed more than a refresh. 🔧⚾

Our guy Levi Loughry from Stevenson University brought us his Wilson A2K catcher’s mitt, and this one needed some serious work before heading back behind the plate.

Along with our Glove Mechanics Signature Service, the original web needed to be replaced. Rather than simply swapping in another stock piece, we made a new web for the mitt and installed it. We also replaced the worn pinky loop before finishing everything off with a full relace in fresh black leather.

🧼 Thorough deep cleaning
🧴 Premium conditioning
🛠️ Custom-made replacement web
🧤 New pinky loop
⚫ Full black relace

Now this A2K is cleaned up, repaired, rebuilt and ready for more innings behind the plate. 🔥

Good luck this season, Levi! Thanks for trusting us with your gamer.

And if you’ve got a glove with a damaged web, broken loop, torn stitching or other damage, don’t assume it’s time for a new glove. Let us take a look first.

Your glove deserves better.
