you wouldn’t know this is me. but it is. and i really like this photo i found. i really miss my childhood. i miss what i had as a kid. the people i had. mom mom grapes. my moms mom. when she had cancer and couldn’t move much but i’d come up into her hospital bed and she’d sneak me flat 7 up, hiding it from my mom. i miss those moments. community is such a weird thing now, everything feels so performative and i feel like im at times the only one trying?? should i have to try? why is it hard to find something or someone that feels mutually appreciative of what you bring to your friendship and what you could offer them. maybe the issue is im looking too hard. i want too much. should i expect less? more? anything at all? idk. at the end of the day the world still turns on an axis and i get to mak

the kids are alright. here’s my unofficial beauty pageant. thank you to each and everyone of you who trusted me to take on these projects and challenges and shape your beautiful worlds and stories. from days that ran too long, budgets that ran too short, and ideas that ran too wild. from saying yes before i knew how… from figuring it out in the mid-sprint... and somehow, every time, we made it across the finish line. messy! but across. thank you for giving me the space to learn again. thank you for everything. it means more than i even know how to say.

Julie? (2026) — BTS photos
After months of late nights, egregious amounts of Celsius energy drinks and endless meetings, my film “Julie?” wrapped production on March 15th. It’s been quite a journey! Thank you to all of my friends, family, supporters and wonderful crew members. Without you, none of this would be possible. I’m so proud of what we’ve created together. 🩶

phew. this quarter has been a lot. almost got evicted. parents in and out of the hospital. some great sets too. a lot of mental and physical turmoil, not being happy with myself how i felt or looked. started to seek help again and try to figure out me. I ran around the city selling just about anything i could. sold some things that meant a lot to me. you can’t sell your memories, but the things attached have a lot of gravity to them. made a couple new friends. tried new things, gave it my all. i’m excited for the future. finally on co-op, i feel like i can breathe. take care of myself. my body. my mentality. i cannot wait to see the sun and rest. i plan on shooting more photography during the summer, being more active. i am going to lose weight. i’ve been at such a struggling point recently and i feel no more brittle than a twig. at any moment i can just snap. a bunch of bumps. a bunch of highs. i can’t be more thankful to just, be here. i got back into therapy recently, and it’s been great to in a way make proxy’s for my emotions. (i explained it this way to my therapist.) i am davinci. i will resolve.

i hope to piece myself together once more. i like the grass. i like the warm sappy summer nights when everything sticks to you. i like when i can’t sleep because im so excited about the next day. i like being able to feel anxious when i have a job interview, and thinking all is lost. doubt is my greatest enemy. frankly, i like being uncomfortable. i like being alive. i am so greatful for those who have endured me. who have tolerated all of me. i am so happy to have those i call friends.

i love being human.

jr project wraps. so thankful for the experience. i’m ready for more. hungry for more art. i’m feeling gluttonous. everything that i thought i couldn’t do i did. to more uncertainties. surprise yourself. be unpredictable. make dents rather than scratches. don’t just be on the surface. be the impact you want. even though slow, a koala must climb with two fingers. you have five. what’s slowing you down?

This past weekend I had the honor of DPing BORING by @c.argueta27 , shot on the Sony Venice with a 20-100mm Cooke Varotal

This was a whirlwind around the greater Philadelphia area. Around 90% of the shots were doorway dolly zooms lit solely by tungsten units, made possible by our incredible crew who took all the challenges presented and charged headfirst into them like a raging Bull
