OPEN STUDIOS WEEKEND 3 HIGHLIGHTS: THAT’S A WRAP! 🎨 What a phenomenal way to close out ASC Open Studios 2026! Weekend 3 at Cleaver Street and Hawks Road was absolutely buzzing with talent and community spirit. Here is how we wrapped up the final weekend: 
✨ ASC Cleaver Street hosted a fantastic studio exhibition alongside open studios, giving visitors a unique look into their creative spaces. ✨ ASC Hawks Road threw open their studio doors for the full weekend and saw a massive turnout of guests exploring the building! Last week, we hosted our very first COMMON GROUND Creative Networking event and we couldn’t have been happier with how it all went! Nearly a hundred of our friends, colleagues, and brand new connections joined us in the beautiful surroundings of Smith & Wollensky London. We met an incredible mix of artists, photographers, dancers, actors, musicians, producers, curators, gallerists, and so many more brilliant creatives. People often tell me after I host an event that they’ve met such amazing people—and it got me thinking: why not create something that’s about people first, rather than just focus on the art? That’s where this new idea comes in. We’ll be welcoming an array of industry experts and creative peers including photographic consultants, gallerists, curators, writers, creative mentors and Social Media Advisors, to create the opportunity to speak with people in the know, and share genuine insight into their own experiences in their respective fields. The first one will be at @smithwollensky who’ve kindly given us the Adelphi Bar downstairs, plus a complimentary welcome drink. It’s happening on Tuesday 30th September, from 6–9pm. Tickets are just £5 to cover costs. I’ll be asking people in advance what they’d like to get out of it, so I can help with specific introductions. But equally, if you’d prefer to just come along, soak up the atmosphere, and absorb the energy—that’s absolutely fine too. It would be amazing to see you there. I met amazing artists, new friends and went on some adventurous sightseeing with legendary buses, Tate and saw the immensly beautiful La Manche from the ferry. I’m looking forward to exhibiting ‘Fruiting_Body.008’ in ‘Symbiotic Epidermis’ at Hypha Studios @hyphastudios Marble Arch from 27th June to 19th July. This group exhibition is curated by John Ángel Rodríguez  @greycubeprojects . More info below. . “This project explores the core concepts of posthumanism philosophy, transhumanism, and new materialism, examining the skin as a dynamic interface where biological, technological, and environmental systems intersect. . Symbiotic Epidermis moves beyond viewing the skin as a mere boundary. Instead, it positions it as a profound site of exchange and transformation, echoing posthumanism ideas of interconnectedness and transhumanist visions of bodily enhancement and evolution. The featured artworks vividly depict the skin merging with external organisms or technologies, subtly blurring the lines between the human and non-human, natural and artificial. Through these powerful artistic explorations, the exhibition prompts vital inquiry into the future of human identity in an increasingly hybrid world. . To foster deeper public engagement and understanding, Symbiotic Epidermis will extend beyond the gallery space with a dynamic series of public activities. These include talks by exhibiting artists and leading specialists, guided tours, and interactive workshops, transforming the exhibition into a vibrant learning laboratory. A particular focus will be placed on investigating critical themes such as haptic communication for inclusion and neurodiversity.” .
