An evening of inspiration…..

Last night I took myself to a new music venue in London to see the incredible @snakedavissax with his band.

And what a find this place is. Opened by @yolandabrown earlier this year through a crowdfunding campaign, @soulmamalondon is a beautiful space, with great food, great drinks, easily accessible location and GREAT MUSIC!

Snake totally smashed every track, starting with an immense version of Harlem Nocturne.

I had the pleasure of meeting father and son band members, his phenomenal bass player, just 21 years old and his dad who was tearing it up on trumpet.

If you haven’t yet seen any of Snakes gigs, you’re really missing a trick. We were all up dancing by the end, such a great vibe.

After enjoying a glass of my favourite wine (top of the list), my favourite cocktail (top of the list), delicious mac’n’cheese and a hefty slice of carrot cake, I waddled my way back to Stratford station just a stones throw away, home in half hour. Can’t be bad!

Sometime you just gotta check out and chill out. 😊

It will never not be exciting seeing a full sized me on the London underground!! Here I am at Green Park- me and the band on a poster!! After our two fantastic shows @theotherpalace in January we are back there again for another two marvellous Mondays on March 6th and March 13th.
So, here’s the thing. I challenge you to find a big me at a tube station in London and do a Pulman pose like I am in the photo ( coz THAT’S Not embarrassing!)
Post your photo to Instagram tagging me and use #LizaInLondon and you’ll be entered into a prize draw for tickets, signed CD and meet and greet! #theheartofit #londontheatre #supportlondontheatre #lizapulman #fascinatingaida #theotherpalace #mondays

We had a pretty great night last week watching the master that is @therealmarcusmiller at @officialronnies in London!

The band were incredible, especially @anwarmarshall on kit, totally locked with Marcus in the rhythm section 🥁🎸

You can definitely expect to hear all about it in an upcoming episode 😉
