Seeking freedom, connection & new perspectives
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
It feels surreal looking back at the version of myself just a year ago, saying ā€œI wanted to start playing music festivalsā€ I had no idea how much could change in a year šŸŒŽšŸ“…

I went from performing at small vanlife gatherings to @joshuatreemusicfestival, @ssbdfest ssbdfest, @burningman, @salmonfest & so many more āš”ļø

Marti Marti, a girl from a small town in West Virginia packed her life into a van to chase a dream, and I’m proud to say I’m making it!! šŸ„¹šŸššŸ”® The nomad community gave me the freedom to be myself & now I’m bringing that same spirit into new spaces with music i have written to bring people together.

If you’re living van life or chasing a dream of your own, I hope this post encourages you to KEEP GOING! Take the risk, say it out loud, and take a chance on YourSelf to see what happens.

Thank you to my team and especially @steveyalo for filming and editing this video šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™

Xoxo

Played my first music festival @ssbdfest with @helixmoonofficial Still regrouping after helping as a builder, then performing and attending this incredible festival.

6 years of attending, 2 years of building and now performing here, this festival has a special place in my heart. Stoked to be up on stage with some killer players, performing at sunset, with a full moon, a kick ass sound guy @tapeheadsaudio, and lots of familiar faces in the crowd. Thank you to the buttman himself, @artweapon for booking us. And thank you to the countless homies who documented this moment for us: @enjoythejourney.today @colinstrz @steveyalo @zadewave @thelortzyness

More content to come, -kev🤘

Imagine entering a state park and then, all of a sudden, finding yourself inside a magic world that didn’t exist just days before, covered in art made by hundreds of creative minds working together.

I would like to give a special thank you to @nmpino and everyone on her team who worked together to bring Grandma’s House & Grandpa’s garage to life. This is unlike any music festival I’ve ever been to, and it’s because of people like Nicole who come up with ideas like this and actually make them happen. I’m so grateful I got to be a part of your art šŸ«¶šŸ»

Playing at Grandpa’s Garage brought back so many nostalgic memories of my grandparents, who have both passed away. It brought me back to their house in the country in West Virginia. Pop didn’t have a garage but he had 2 sheds; one with a lawn mower and all the tools & the other with his prize possession his green Lincoln. There was something really special about getting to bring my music into a space designed by creators who care so deeply about what they’re making. And this weekend @ssbdfest left me feeling incredibly inspired 🄰

I also want to thank the people who came out to support me, especially the ones who went above and beyond like @steveyalo who filmed and edited this video!! You’re a rockstar and I’m so grateful for the time, energy, and belief in my project 🄹

The vision has always been bigger than just making music. We are creating things that help people feel, process what they’re going through and be more vulnerable.

This music is meant to bring people together and create community. So to everyone who is supporting this mission, please know how much it means to me

~ Because it starts with us šŸ¤

For 20 years, Rob has made sure his bike is impossible to miss at Burning Man. šŸŽˆ

His setup features 97 glowing balloons connected by a 1,000-foot chain, turning a simple way to find his bike on the playa into a floating piece of art.

After two decades, it’s become one of those Burning Man creations that feels completely unnecessary — and completely perfect.

This might be the most Burning Man way to find your bike.

Trois goofy. Enfin.

J’avais entendu parlé de Burning man.

LETS GO, on y va! J’accepte!
