Today marks two years since we lost my beautiful older sister. Two years without her, and somehow her love still finds its way into so many parts of our lives. I miss her more than words can say, and I’ll always carry her with me.

This year, our family was reminded in a very different and frightening way just how precious life is. Charlie was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident. He is alive and recovering, and we are endlessly grateful for that. The accident changed his life, and it changed all of ours, too.

Through the heartbreak, the fear, the uncertainty, and all the moments that have felt impossibly heavy over the last few years, one thing has stayed the same: we always show up for each other.

We hold each other up. We love hard. We sit with each other through the really difficult moments, and we celebrate every little bit of progress. We don’t always know what tomorrow will bring, but we know we won’t have to face it alone.

And we’ve been so incredibly lucky to have a village around us that has shown up in every way imaginable. The love, support, prayers, check-ins, hugs, messages, and just being there when we needed it most have meant more than we could ever put into words. They have carried us in ways they probably don’t even realize, and we will never forget it.

I’m so incredibly grateful for my family—for the strength we find in each other, for the love that keeps us connected, and for the courage to keep moving forward even when our hearts are hurting. I’m grateful for the people we’ve surrounded ourselves with who have reminded us that we don’t have to do any of this alone.

We will keep carrying the ones we’ve lost, fighting for the ones who are still here, and loving each other through all of it.

I love you, Abby. Always. 🤍
