Year 24 recap🥂

A year full of milestones, changes, challenges, and accomplishments. Thank you Jesus for guiding me every step of the way. Excited to see what 25 has in store:))

I moved to Cincinnati!

Lucy got a new best friend aka brother aka Maddi and I force them to love eachother 🙂‍↕️

I made lots of memories with family in Louisville…

& overseas!

Also made lots and lots of memories with this one🫶🏼

My mommy got diagnosed with AND beat cancer this year!!🥹

I graduated PT school🎓

& passed my boards!

I fell in love with acute care (thanks to these two!) and accepted a position with UC Health as an Acute Care PT at UCMC, a level 1 trauma center🤯 I also work at Encompass Health Inpatient Rehab where I help my patients transition from acute hospital stays to getting back home. Pinching myself that I get to do what I love every day🥹

🔥Workout Wednesday with Coach Maddi: Leg Day Edition🔥

Today’s workout is one of my favorite lower body sessions when I’m looking to challenge my strength and build muscle💪

Quick Warm-Up (5–8 minutes):
✅ Cat cows
✅ Bodyweight squats
✅ Bodyweight reverse lunges
✅ Banded glute bridges
✅ Leg swings (front/back + side/side)
✅ World’s Greatest Stretch
✅ Lateral band walks

The Workout:
🔸Side Lunges — 2x12 each side
🔹Split Jump Lunges — 2x10 each side

🔸Hack Squat — 4x15/10/8/8
🔹Reverse Lunges — 4x10/10/8/8 each side

🔸Dumbbell Sumo Deadlift — 4x12/10/10/8

🔸Single Leg Extension — 3x10 each side
🔹Leg Extension — 3x12

🚨Finisher🚨
Kettlebell Swings — 1x50

I couldn’t have done this without the love and support of my family, loved ones, and the incredible friends I made along the way. Thank you to all of the faculty and staff at Bellarmine for the way you poured into us over the years. Thank you to all of my clinical instructors and mentors that have shaped me into the clinician I am today. Most importantly, thank you God for the last 3 years of my life! Excited to see what the next chapter has in store🥳
