Gratitude doesn’t even begin to describe how I felt at my son Nicholis King Joy’s and my first book signing together, at @lawrencepubliclibraryofficial 🥹♥️ Thank you to every person who walked through those doors to celebrate this AMAZING accomplishment with us. Watching people laugh, cry, celebrate, and stand in line to get their signed copy meant more than I can express. My son is my WHY. I believe God sent him to me because He knew that together, we would make an incredible team. We are LOVE AGENTS. A little (less known) fact: Before Yoga, I was a power lifter and boxing buff through my teens and twenties. I moved to a more socially acceptable modality (for ladies at the time) as I got pulled into Corporate Life. Even so, I always base my practice into the 30+ years of martial arts (aikido, karate, wrestling, boxing and fencing) that defined my formative years. I feel hopeful that the next generation of ladies don’t have the same hang ups as I did for having “inappropriate” hobbies and will grow more confident and powerful in life. Do what you love and they say you’ll never work a day in your life. 🥹🩷 The days I get to spend every second focused on Studio Mama are genuinely my favorite days. I look forward to teaching all week. 🤩 I LOVE what I do, and somehow everything I’ve done in life has led me right here. I get to bring my love for yoga + wellness back to my own community. I get to create more access to prenatal wellness. I get to create spaces for people to move, breathe, connect + feel supported. And LOOK at this beautiful community we’re building. 🥹🌿 I couldn’t be more grateful. This is so much bigger than a studio or a job. This is my life’s work. 🪷🩷 Namaste. 🙏🏽

I declare I am somebody! The somebody behind the camera, my name is Dai I photograph moments that eventually turn into memories. My goal for Still Diaries is to not only capture memorable moments, but to create them! I’m very huge on supporting other creatives. This summer marks two years since I founded Grace Life & Wellness. And honestly building the business has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. Not the coaching; the business of it. Starting with zero experience in marketing, branding, or entrepreneurship has been one of the most challenging parts of this journey. I made a decision that changed everything; I invested in support. Working with my business coach, @le_fuschia shifted me. She didn’t just help me build a brand… she helped me see myself. She called forward a version of me that was always there, just waiting to be claimed. The wild, the grounded, the powerful. She affirmed what I already knew deep down—this path, this work, this business… it’s aligned. This shoot? It’s part of that becoming. Putting myself out there doesn’t come naturally. I don’t love posing. I don’t always feel comfortable being seen like this. But I’m learning to stand in it anyway. To everyone who helped bring this vision to life; THANK YOU.
