When choosing a vacation spot, it will always include nature. The energetic connection is priceless. This time it was about ocean therapy.

🌊Ocean therapy is a wellness practice that uses the sea's natural elements—such as waves, salt air, and sound—to reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and support mental health.

We called in our inner child with a conscious connected breathwork session. The energetic power was undeniable.

🫁 Conscious connected breathwork is an active, circular breathing practice with no pauses between the inhale and the exhale, typically done through the mouth to help release stress, process emotions, and shift into deep states of self-awareness.

A sound bath and OM practice helped relax everyone…we all went straight to bed right after. It was lovely!

🎼Sound therapy is a practice that uses specific tones, frequencies, and rhythmic vibrations—such as sound baths, to promote deep relaxation, lower stress, and support mental well-being.

🧘🏻‍♀️Nighttime and 🌞 sunrise yoga was the nightcap and morning awakening we needed. Yoga on the beach …AND during sunrise was pretty magical.

Icing on the cake was a sober vacation…who needs substance alteration when you have somatic healing practices, community/family, and nature?

Namaste 🙏🏼

This past weekend, @demsocialists hosted the Southwest Regional Organizing Retreat here in Las Vegas! Members from LVDSA as well as @phoenix_dsa & @slcdsa gathered for a weekend of organizing trainings and conversations with new comrades. 🌹

Some of our own members even got to assist in facilitating trainings on facilitating great meetings and assessing/building capacity! 👀

(A huge thank you to @sinsitysisters for hosting us at The Nunnery all weekend!)

Thank you to everyone who has donated to my personal fundraising campaign so far! Because of your generous donations I was able to reach my initial goal! With 3 days left in the campaign I’ve raised my goal. With your help I know I can reach it! Please head to 9to5.org/ashley to make your donation today (link in bio). 100% of your contributions go directly to our chapter and allow us to work on issues like worker’s rights, climate justice, and housing security. It takes less than 5 minutes to donate and these contributions go a long way in making this work possible. So do a good a deed, support a good organization, and feel good about yourself today!
