THANK YOU!

All the love to everyone who rocked the block for Record Store Day ‘26. First in line at 3 PM Friday! You all came through despite Friday night’s weather and a brisk Wisconsin Saturday.

Your support of indie record shops and small business keeps your moola in the community. We love you.

We’re extremely excited and honored to have Bastille Days voted as best Community Festival in @shepherdexpress ’ “Best of Milwaukee 2022” list. Additionally, Jazz in the Park was also voted as a finalist in the Outdoor Music Series category (we’re coming for you Chill on the Hill).

The 2022 reboot of both events was a straight “All-Hands-On-Deck” effort by countless individuals and organizations with the goal of doing whatever it took to ensure the events would not just be back 2022, but for many years to come. While East Town Association, and our events, continue to be in the rebuilding stage, it is incredibly motivating to know that the community is behind us. With minimal time and resources to devote to marketing in 2022; we were still incredibly blessed by the large turnout and the noticeably fun, welcoming, and safe atmosphere that you all created. Even the rain during parts of Bastille Days didn’t keep you away and we thank you for that.

There are too many individuals and organizations to list them all, but a few specific shoutouts to those that put in a ton of work and resources to make these events a reality.

Production Team: @eventsbydesign , @sazshospitalitygroup , @toddradmanovic , @swarmm_events, @zandrentertainment and @ren.nach .

Partners: @af_milwaukee , @stirstuff , @mkedowntown , @milwaukeeart , @onmilwaukee , @mkecountyparks , @cityofmilwaukee , @mayorofmilwaukee , Alderman Bauman, @milwaukeepolice , @milwaukeefiredept , @cathedralsquarefriends , @taylors_milwaukee , Flannery’s, @thisisitbar , @elsasonthepark , @plazahotelmke , @thepfisterhotel , and Bill Bonifas of @cbre

Sponsors: @budlight , @badger_liquor , @johnsonfinancialgroup , @myeducatorscu , @associatedbank , Madison Medical, @gruber_law , @doorpeninsulawinery , @thebigbitetour , @kohls , @collierswisconsin , and @mymetromarket .

And a personal shout-out to all the entertainers and entertainment partners who worked with our limited budget this year. To both previous executive Directors @kimmorris1110 and @elmcelwee for all their guidance and support. To our interns and volunteers. And to @ren.nach , who without her, none of these events could have happened.

Lake Wenatchee in February and is amazing spot. Was very lucky to visit @canoecove. It’s an unreal feeling waking up to mountains over a lake out the window.

The inside of @niksenhouse is just as good at the outside. Would definitely come back to this place time and time again.

Some of my favorite photos from @niksenhouse. Such a great spot for exploration around Mt. Hood.

Lots O’ Letters! ✍️ I wrangled a few favorites from over the last few years. As always thanks for the fun challenges: Beer, bands, buddies, and not just business, but yeah, a little business. 🆗🆗🆒
