Every step made a difference!

@veloxitylabs_bioanalytics had an amazing time at the @stjuderuns Metamora to Peoria Run on August 1, supporting a mission that gives hope to children and families around the world.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible team, everyone who cheered us on, and our favorite mascot, Larry the Lab Cheetah, for bringing the fun! Our team proudly raised $46,305 to help support the children and families served by @stjuderuns

We're grateful to be part of a community that's changing lives one step at a time.

Year 2 in the books! 🎗️🏃‍♀️👟
This is my favorite week of the year by far! It truly incredible to see how many people are involved in the mission of St.Jude and are working behind the scenes to make sure kids get the treatment they need! I can’t even explain the amount of gratitude I have for every single person that donated their time, money, and effort into this, it is truly heartwarming! I am so so thankful that Gods plans for me did not end in 2022 and that he gave me the opportunity to use my story as testimony as to what St.Jude is doing for so many kids and families! Thank you all for your continued support!

Every year I become more and more grateful for the opportunity to run from Memphis to Peoria for the children of St. Jude. It’s impossible to put into words what this hospital did for my family, but to keep it short, they kept us whole. They gave my sister the chance to grow up, and because of that, I’ll never stop showing up for this mission 🩷🩷

This run is so much more than the miles. It’s early mornings, tired legs, lifelong friendships, and hundreds of people coming together for one purpose: making sure families never have to worry about the cost of saving their child’s life. Every step is for the kids still fighting, for the survivors who remind us why we run, and for the families who need hope the most🫶

Thank you to everyone who donated, encouraged me, ran beside me, volunteered, or made this week possible. My body is exhausted, my heart is incredibly full, and I’m already counting down until next year ❤️👣

What an inspirational weekend! We were honored to help provide transportation and support for the @stjuderuns charity run to Peoria. Runners braved the rainy weather, ran through the night and all day, but never gave up and stayed strong! 💪

45th Anniversary of St. Jude Runs, another 465 miles, over 100 million dollars raised since the beginning, $1.9 million raised by Memphis, and truly unforgettable memories.

This year has been so incredibly special for so many reasons. From the big anniversary, to signing beams that will be used in the new research towers, Galesburg family joining the Memphis group, the family we met in Decatur, and having been on campus all summer has made this run my favorite yet.

The heat, the rain, and everything in between will always be worth it to help support this amazing organization. I could not be more thankful to each and every donor, whether it was to me or another runner. It is truly those who donate who are the heroes and make this run and every run possible.

Having the opportunity to intern at St. Jude this summer has truly been a dream for me. Getting to work directly with the patients and families has made my passion for this organization even stronger. In between segments, we have a moment of silence where we can say the names of current patients, former patients, and those we have lost. I have always made sure to say both of my cousins names, Ella and Ben, as well as Tessa, and Riley. This year I prayed not only for them, but for so many of the kids I have been able to meet and get to know this summer. These kids have changed my life in more ways than they will ever know. It is bittersweet for this to be my last week, but I know I am leaving as a better person.

I don’t think I will ever stop talking about this run, this internship, this group of people, and this community I call home❤️
