Downed trees, 100 km/h winds, flying - everything…just another competition day! Wild doesn’t even begin to describe the conditions!

The men’s team battled hard in a tight competition to finish 6th overall, with Nate K leading the way as our top performer. On the women’s side, Cadence had an outstanding race, claiming 🥉!

Next up… the ACAC Championships on Halloween!

6'-8" player Erin's recorded 52 points, 61 Rebounds

Erin Miller had an outstanding weekend for Swoosh, rising to the challenge against several players close to her own height. As the second-youngest player on the court, she continued to play with the confidence and composure of a Grade 12 athlete.

Across four games, rebounds and 18 blocks, averaging 13 points, 15.3 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game while shooting 45.5% from the field.

She opened with a double-double of 16 rebounds and 10 blocks, adding eight points to finish as the second-highest scorer in the game. She followed that with three straight points-and-rebounds double-doubles.

Game 3 was her best performance of the weekend, finishing with 12 points and 18 rebounds, including 11 offensive boards, along with two blocks and a steal.

Her 38 offensive rebounds across the weekend gave Swoosh valuable second chances. Erin’s impact went beyond scoring—she protected the rim, battled on the boards and responded when challenged.

Proud of her effort and continued growth. She keeps showing how much she can contribute right now and how much potential lies ahead.
