Something special is floating around Después de llover by Eli Wewentxu & Indrė Jurgelevičiūtė STRLP-141 Out digitally Ltd pressing of 300 will be out end of August. “Después de llover” is about musical conversations between two people who have only recently met; they come from very different places, do not speak the same languages, and perhaps have little in common other than the resonance of their instruments. This encounter leads them to explore an imaginary world where they share sounds to build a place where they can go and play with the moisture of the plants growing in the water, listen to the pudus playing with the herons, rest on the floripondios, and perhaps stay there waiting for the rain to return. These pieces were recorded on a summer day in 2025 at Indrė’s home with kanklės, txompe, and violin. © all rights reserved

I made a long, slow piece of music for IMMENSE. People of the 21st Century, a solo exhibition by Noortje Palmers opening tonight at Osthaus Museum, Hagen. The piece will accompany her beautiful work throughout the exhibition (01.11.2025 – 01.02.2026) Go check it out! It’s an improvisation on baritone guitar, synth and electronics. Mixed beautifully by Stijn Cools. Take your time. Immense is available on Bandcamp and SoundCloud (link in bio).
