Not the ending any of us were hoping for.

Kingston Stockade's season came to a close with a hard-fought 2-0 playoff loss to Met Oval. It was one of those matches where every tackle, every save, every call the refs made, and every chance mattered.

As a photographer, I'm grateful I got to document another season of heart, resilience, and the people who make this club special—from the players, coaches, and support staff to the supporters behind the goal every match.

Thank you, @stockadefc, for trusting me to tell your story through my lens every season.
Here's to another 10 years!

Ah, Stockade. We've been going for years. Conor's first game you can see the awe. Then it was masks and waving bandanas, then it was Fiona in my belly but still manuevering the bleachers, then marooned to Marist, Fiona in tow. Then back to Dietz where Conor went from Dutch Guard dancer to merch king, and Fiona just did whatever she felt like all over the grounds. I finally got my volunteer shirt for this year's last game and I wear it with immense pride. Stockade games are the best of Kingston, a true community event, even if you know nothing about soccer. What a fantastic addition to our city, and to me and my kids' lives.
