And with that, the seasons over. I wish I could explain in words how amazing it was, but that’s impossible. From the score board blaring in Rocori, to learning movement four in a puddle, to the encore with the scouts, all the way to open class finals. It was the adventure of a lifetime and I loved it so much. I got a little tanner, drank a lot of water, learned more about myself, and gained the best family I could ask for. To RCR 2019 and a big thank you to everyone that made it great💙💙💙 (for people that I couldn’t tag: @mockingjaymusic @jacob_sherrick_45 @ashew17 @gavin._martin @liam_the_euphonium @thenames_karlie26)

So if anyone was wondering—yes I live:D but RCR has been wild. It’s really hard but also a ton of fun. I’ve made lots of new friends and today we had our first performance in uniform and it was super cool and fun:D also shoutout to Devon for helping me get to this point, with teaching me trumpet and all. Then shoutout to my section for being awesome and supportive! (Also if you want to keep up with me more I post almost daily on @marching.through.the.pain)

Another summer has gone by where I was fortunate enough to teach the colorguard at River City Rhythm Drum Corps. This summer was a struggle trying to find guard members, but eventually we found the perfect 12. Thank you to the wonderful staff for always being so funny and hardworking, you all make RCR such a fun place, & I miss you all so much. To the colorguard: I love you all! You made the show amazing in the end, so proud of the work you put in! Special thanks to my bestie @becs.sus for allowing me to teach you again. I’m so happy you were able to finally march drum corps and I hope you feel at home with RCR. Thank you for being an outstanding leader & someone I can look up to. I’m already looking forward to next summer! RCR colorguard tick tick tick tick..💙⏳🕰
