Week 41 started with a question nobody was asking. 👀🤯
What happens when two of the biggest acts on the ARIA charts share a record? 🤔

@ropsfrmda6ix4our and @the_046_official answered it with “No Deals”, a G-Funk single produced by @sefrutheproducer . The @zacobro directed video was sitting at number 12 on YouTube’s music trending chart a day after release.
@kerserofficial , meanwhile, did what he has done for two decades. Another standalone single, and he made it sound easy.
@mav_trc took on the “Churchill Downs” instrumental and delivered the strongest release of his run so far.
@lavez27 and @dkayontop gave Melbourne a link up with “Potty Mouth”.
@ribby247 released “CARRION” his last ever record.
@yungmaynie_ kept his run going alongside @craigiewave ,
@day1bne returned,
and @retzofficialhbb and @fithstudios did not slow their schedule.

The biggest takeaway?
Collaboration has run through the whole of 2026.
This week it peaked.
The scene is more connected than it was at the start of the year, and more link ups could follow before it ends.

Some beats come with a standard attached… 📈

“Churchill Downs” is one of them. Drake and Jack Harlow both used it to show what they could do as writers, which makes it a risky instrumental for anyone to step onto.

@mav_trc stepped onto it anyway.

“CASHIN GREENS” is a freestyle out of the TRC camp, with a video from @stoffy_45 and @latenight_collective .
Back to back verses, no hook, no filler, and it runs fun 4 and a half minutes.
The production is cold and mournful, and his flow runs faster and more syllable dense than the original cadence, so its play as an entirely new track and not just a copy.

It also sits differently for him.
Where he usually brings aggression, this is passion, and it sounds more considered, and more precise.

Across the scene, artists have been reworking classic Hip8Hop beats and stepping outside their usual sounds. This is the cleanest example weve heard all year.
Whether remixes are properly back is still the open question, but this track just made a strong case.
