Dear Stone,

As my last baby is now off to college...this one hit a little different. Even though we have already been apart for over a year...dropping you at college hit me like a ton of bricks after you dropped me at the very traumatic O'Hare airport😭!

I could not be more proud of all the work you have put in as an athlete your whole life, but the adversity you over came without wavering after your high school basketball career ended abruptly due to another injury. That did not stop you and you stepped into your next admirable role of always being there on the sidelines to cheer your teammates on and even took on some coaching🥹☺️!

I have no doubt that the good Lord has huge plans for you and I may not always be able to be there, but know that momma is and will always be your biggest fan✨🤞🏼💁🏼‍♀️! Keep chasing your hoop dreams and don't forget to chase those books as well🏀📚!

Here is what a quick trip looked liked to meet his adorable roommate Amare, whom I couldn't have hand picked a better roommate for you and I so excited you have one another as teammates & classmates as well☺️🙏🏼! Before I left I had to do what I could to set these guys up and by the looks of the before pics...I think I nailed it💁🏼‍♀️💅🏼!

Remember, G-d first, family, friends, basketball/school and most all keep that grit, grind and passion that you possess so well✨🤞🏼🙏🏼🦾🔥🏀! #hooper #firstdayofcollege #solecollector #hoopdreams #1of1

Love,

Momma

Just a lil recap of getting to spend time with these sweet boys while Stone was here! I miss them all already, but I am so thankful for their friendships that will last a lifetime✨🤞🏼🙏🏼! And we of course can't leave out our sweet Cesca that we watched while Jay and Kenny were on Vaca...we took her with us anytime we could 🐾🥰🎀!

Hasn't even been 24 hours since my baby @stone1of1 left to go back to Illinois and my heart already aches💔. While being back in his real home state of Texas, he got to spend time with life long friends, golfed and still managed to put werk in to get ready for his next journey of playing college ball🦾! I miss you terribly already, but I am so proud of you and can't wait to follow your next journey🥹✨🤞🏼🙏🏼! Keep it up kid!
Love,
Momma

Whew...I didn't want to miss the last of Senior Sunday, but such as life and I would not miss out on celebrating the last #seniorsunday that ended up happening on Stone's actual graduation day! I am so thankful for those who showed up and showed out for my Stoney...you know who you are and I am forever grateful and appreciative for all the help and effort that was put into making his grad party happen and for all of you that were there to watch him walk that stage. It is now onto the next chapter....the Burg has officially melted and it is on to the next....let's go get @stone1of1 .....🦾🏀💯🫡🤫.
