For Sunday, for Iris, for every baby gone too soon. For all the little ones carried in hearts instead of arms. We remember you.

Sweet babies, tonight and always, your lights shine on 💛🕯️

//

What a bittersweet night spent in remembrance. I’ll share more tomorrow about the incredibly special Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Ceremony we were able to participate in tonight at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital. I know it will take me hours to even begin to put into words what it meant to me, and how being in that space with people who care helped heal something in me…

After the ceremony concluded and the tears had dried, we found a quiet spot by the water and participated in Wave of Light as the sun sank down. Tonight, we honor and remember Sunday, Iris, and all their friends in heaven.

To everyone who lit a candle for my girls today, thank you could never be enough. Even still, thank you.

I wish this day didn’t exist, but I cannot thank you enough for sitting with me in it and honoring the little lives who forever changed mine.

Mini Sessions for @stonecarterfoundation are here!! We had so much fun with this last year I think I want to make this an annual event.

SCF is such a wonderful organization that supports grieving families through the loss of their baby or child.
If you are able, please help support this amazing organization!

Mini sessions will be on Friday, December 4th at The Ridge at Summit Farms. A huge thank you to them for letting us use their beautiful outside venue! A minimum of $80 (more is appreciated but not required), 10 minutes, 8-10 photos.

Last weekend we attended the @stonecarterfoundation 3rd annual gala. We had an amazing Saturday evening celebrating Stone, our sweet girl Rava, and all babies that are gone far too soon. The event was incredibly beautiful. You could feel all of the love everyone has for their sweet little ones gone far too soon and the admiration from all that were there to support parents of loss. We are so happy that we were able to attend and I know Stone is so incredibly proud of his parents for creating something so healing to support all families affected by loss. We are so honored to have been able to participate and to have our sweet girl honored during their wave of light💜

Last Saturday, we celebrated sweet Stone’s 3rd birthday. His mama, @burandee_ has spent the last year pouring her heart and soul into this gala- making Stone’s birthday an opportunity to honor all the babies gone too soon. @stonecarterfoundation and their blessing boxes have brought so much comfort to my friends and I. I am so grateful for this community of incredible people. It’s an indescribable feeling to be surrounded by people who have experienced the same heartbreak as you. People who have to live every day, knowing that a part of them is dead and never coming back. I am honored to have been able to be a part of such an amazing night. For a club that no one wants to be in, we sure do have some incredible members.

TSCF Candlelight Gala 🩵🐘

17 days after Sunday was born still, Brandi (Stone’s Mama and founder of The Stone Carter Foundation) was kind enough to reach out to offer support and invite us to their upcoming Gala. That event was one of the only things I looked forward to last year and was the first place I found myself surrounded by people who, in their own ways, understood my pain.

Yesterday, just over a year later, we had the honor of attending the 3rd Annual TSCF Gala! It was such a special time, reminding me of just how much can change in a year…

This time last year, we didn’t know a soul at the Gala other than my parents. This year, I got to finally meet two loss mama friends from our sweet online community and got to hear their baby’s names spoken out loud in the same room my babies’ names were spoken. We got to share a table with people who have loved Justin and me in ways we don’t even deserve, including the loss mama who first stood in the gap for me when I was too in shock and heartbroken to ask for certain things or know what I’d need when I got home from the hospital. She made me a care basket with notes on each item, and her kindness left me wondering—what about the people who don’t have a Lauren in their life?

This time last year, Forever, My Sunshine was in its early stages and Sunday’s Promise was only an idea. This year, I had the honor of being invited to speak during dinner about this special book and the work we’re doing through Sunday’s Promise!

Last year, we had one deeply loved daughter… This year, we thought I’d be veryyy pregnant at the Gala with her little sister, but instead, we lit two candles for our two little ladies in heaven…

But what a gift it was to see their names in print and hear them spoken aloud, to have their lives remembered outside of our home and alongside so many of their friends in heaven. TSCF gave us all that gift last night.

They are doing incredible things in honor of Stone, and we could not be more thankful for their friendship or more proud of the work they do! What a special, special night honoring the impact and incredible legacy of one special little boy!!

What a great night honoring our girl. So much love in that room last night. You know that saying "the tension is so thick you can cut it with a knife", it was like that but with love. I've never felt anything like it! Thank you to the The Stone Carter Foundation for having us! Such a wonderful organization!

We love and miss you so deeply, Lo. I hope you feel it everyday but especially last night. 💛

Our tickets have arrived for @stonecarterfoundation Candlelight Gala on September 12th in Anderson, SC and we are so looking forward to joining them on this special night as they honor Stone and so many other deeply loved and deeply missed babies!

Last year, just two months after Sunday died, we attended their Gala and it was such a special time, helping our family to feel a little less alone as we sat in a room filled with other people who knew, in their own ways, the pain we were carrying. This year, we will have two memorial seats at our table instead of one as we honor the lives of both of our precious girls: Sunday Morgan (born still on 6/19/25) and Iris June (miscarried on 4/2/26), and you’ll also find a raffle item from Sunday’s Promise there as well!

So thankful for our friends at TSCF and all the other families and nonprofits doing meaningful work to honor babies and love on families facing the heartbreak of pregnancy and infant loss!! It truly is the worst club with the best members, and I’m thankful that we are all in this together!

Hope to see you there 💛

Will you sponsor or donate to our gala?

We’re officially less than ONE MONTH away from The Third Annual Stone Carter Foundation Gala , and we desperately need a few more sponsors to help make this night possible!

By sponsoring our gala, you will be helping 75+ loss families come together for a night of honoring and remembering their babies and children who have gone too soon. This night gives families a place to say their child’s name, celebrate their life, and connect with other families who truly understand this kind of loss.

There are so many ways you can help! You can sponsor the gala, purchase a table, or donate an item or experience to our raffle auction. Every single contribution helps us make this night special for our families!!

If you, your business, or someone you know would like to be a part of Stone’s legacy, please message me or call/text me at 631-664-2924. We would be so incredibly grateful for your support! 🩵🐘👼🏼🫶🏼
