People ask me why I watch football so closely when the players I train are on the field.🏈

For me, it’s more than watching the game. I’m studying movement in real time — while cheering them on!

I’m watching:
✔️Which muscles generate power, speed, and force.
✔️Their positioning on the field before each play.
✔️How they use their bodies to explode off the line, change direction, and react to their opponent.
✔️How they stabilize their core and use their anterior and posterior chains to hold their starting position and prepare for movement.
✔️The physical demands placed on their bodies throughout the game.

As a Pilates instructor, I’m always studying how the body moves and what it takes to perform at an elite level. Understanding the demands of their sport helps me apply that knowledge to my training sessions.🧐💪🏻🙌🏻

This reminds me a lot of what we used to do with Chris Jones at Mississippi State. @stonecoldjones95

Move your best guy around. Create different matchups. Make the offense find him on every snap.

Texas has that kind of weapon in Colin Simmons. @co1insimmons
