Happy Labour Day! I have been fortunate enough to work playing music for people eight of the last nine nights/days. I wanted to send a big thanks to all the musicians I’ve worked with over this last stretch and to all servers, staff and management at the fine establishments we have worked at. Looking forward to more good music in September after a day off!

Amazing day talking with founder and CEO of Stonehooker Brewing Company Ross Noel. We discussed weathering the economic storm on the shores of Lake Ontario and how, as mayor I can support the amazing small businesses here in the Lakeview community and all of Mississauga.

It's a real shame this local brewhouse is shutting their doors for good next month....thank you for all the beautiful gems you'd brewed over the years Stonehooker! You will definitely be missed. 😢

Cheers! 🍻

🚨 ONE WEEK LEFT TO SAY GOODBYE TO STONEHOOKER. 🍻💔

Some breweries are more than just a place to grab a beer. Stonehooker is one of them.
I’ve known this place since 2020, and it has always been one of my favourite beer spots in the GTA.

Honestly, the best biergarten ever? I’ll stand by that.

🍕 Great food
🐶 Pet friendly
🚗 Free parking
🎶 Live music once a week
🍺 Years of brewing great beers
🌤️ Outdoor patio + indoor seating and bar
🍺 My pick: Broad Reach IPA

Sadly, Stonehooker is selling the location, and September 7, 2026 (Labour Day) will be their last day.
So you still have 1 week to go, have a beer, enjoy the patio and become part of the team that’s going to miss this place too.

Some places are worth visiting before they become memories. ❤️🍻

Next show, and last opportunity to see me play in the GTA this summer at least, I will be performing with my dear friend Pattie Kelly @stonehookerbeer on Saturday, August 29th from 7:00 to 11:00 pm out in the biergarten! C’mon out and enjoy the second last Saturday evening of the summer!
