Year 31 started out surfing on the Atlantic with best friend Taylor, a cross country trip down to Mexico to see McKay, then back to Utah to see family and friends for Thanksgiving. I spent the holidays back in Hawaii working and visiting friends, then spent 2 weeks testing an investigational medicine in Utah. Returned to snowboard the Japow of Japan with Jesse, visited El Salvador with my dad, then took off to spend some time with my friends and family in the smoky mountains. I moved to Alaska for the summer to fish for salmon at sea for 3 months, then ventured to Italy for Jon and Makinzie’s wedding. After backpacking around Europe for 3 weeks I met my mom and hiked the Camino de Santiago and together across the entire country of Spain. We visited Portugal and then parted ways. I visited close friends in California and then made another 5,000 miles road trip up to the corner of the eastern United States for my Great Aunt’s 100th birthday in Maine. I then spent 2 weeks visiting family and friends along the East coast before landing back at @thecozyredcabin to settle down for a long winters nap. It’s time to hibernate. I feel like I have lived 3 lifetimes in 1 year. I am grateful to God and everyone I have met along my journey. My friends and family are my core and I am forever thinking and praying for them. I was able to visit 9 countries, live a summer on a boat in the Pacific Ocean, trek 40 days across Spain, and live without regret. Quit the job that doesn’t bring you joy. Take risks. Don’t worry about things that don’t matter. Be wise. Make mistakes. Become a learner. Love unconditionally. Seek joy. Spend your time with those you love. Semi annual overnighter with the river otters! Glad I got to spend some time with my Tennessee fam before taking off. It felt good to be back in the smokies. Hiked 19 miles on the North Carolina side of Great Smoky Mountains National Park up to the beautiful Hemphill Bald overlooking Catalooche and Maggie Valley. Good memories made as always!

A year ago on my 12th day thru hiking the Appalachian Trail, I had a long climb from Mount Cammerer to Max Patch. On my last mile, parched and exhausted, there were cold drinks awaiting me as trail magic. The greatest Sunkist of my life. Last week, I came back and gave out trail magic to 2025 hikers and it was so amazing! So grateful I was able to help out and be a part of the trail community. @trailmoxie beginning my annual Sunkist Trail Magic tradition!

As I lay in bed and reflect on this past year, it will be difficult to ever top 2024. It was filled with snow, waves, mountains, rain, dirt, and I was exposed to all of the natural elements in fantastic ways. I truly was in tune with the earth and soaked up every second of every day. I had the courage to leave a job that was holding me back and got to experience true freedom. I packed my bag and walked 2,200 miles through the Appalachian mountains and found out who I really was and what my purpose was. I found out that dreams are future realities when we are determined. I was able to finish my cabin basement with friends and family and felt every emotion for this project. I traveled to new places. I experienced profound spiritual moments that have changed my life forever. One of the most important things I learned this year was how valuable time is. Gratitude has filled my heart for the people in my life, the people that keep me going, those pictured here. I discovered how happy I am with myself and my life when I am alone and how deeply I miss my loved ones when I am not with them. My joy is full. Happiness is real when shared.

Roooooobeer part 3 - don’t try this at home. 58 root beers tested - I will post the final review after I get off the toilet for the 3rd time during this review night. Needless to say we made it through and reviewed them all. Frosties is a strong winner with 2 superiors. Goodnight

Roobeer🍻 @stoner_pinky has been collecting every kind of root beer he could find in store during the summer. Tonight, on the 21ST NIGHT OF SEPTEMBER, we will always remember all 58 root beers that we tasted, we reviewed each one and found out there were 4 that were superior to the rest.

7 years ago today, @taylorwilding and I bought flights to Hawaii with 0 plans. Who knew that getting a random job as a zipline guide for the summer on Oahu would turn into a 7 year career.
Last year some things changed @climbworks that ended up being an answer to my prayers. I knew it was finally time for me to be true to myself and thru hike the Appalachian Trail. After 7 years dedicating a lot to this amazing company, I had my last day on May 1 and zipped my last line and guided my last tour 🥹 one of the most bittersweet things of my life so far! Looking through all these photos and videos, I have endless memories, funny stories, and most importantly met so many people that had such a profound impact on me and will change me forever. So grateful for the learning opportunities and for making so many connections over the years. @climbworks will forever be in my heart and I’ll always be a part of the CLIMB Works Ohana 🫶🤙🏾 you know who you are!
