🎃 EDMONTON — HALLOWEEN WEEK IS HERE, AND WE’RE CLOSING OUT OCTOBER WITH A BANGER! 🎃 Last week was a sold-out show, and this Wednesday we’re keeping the streak alive with another insane night at Maki Happy Comedy Jam — the hottest weekly comedy show in Edmonton! We’ve got an unreal lineup, capped off by a headliner you don’t wanna miss — Kamal Aleddine! Kamal started as a festival street performer and circus artist. Since beginning stand-up comedy, his performances have taken him around the world. This includes representing Canada at The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas. In Vegas, he also did a residency joining Beacher’s Madhouse at the MGM Grand. Kamal’s television appearances include NBC’s The Tonight Show, Comedy Central’s Gong Show, and Canada’s Got Talent on CTV. Kamal was also featured in an international ad campaign for Smirnoff Flavored Vodkas. 🔥 This show’s gonna be wild — comics from across the city bringing their best, a packed crowd, and the best food & drink specials in town at Kinshi Rinji. Whether you’re rolling solo, on a date, or coming deep with your crew — this is the one to catch before spooky season wraps up! ⸻ NO COVER – FREE ENTRY Doors 6:30 PM | Show 7:30 PM 📍 @ Kinshi Rinji (8109 101 St NW, just off Whyte Ave) 📲 Tag your crew, share this post, and don’t wait to hear about it — be there when it happens! - - #yegcomedy #yegstandup #yegcomedian #yeg #edmontonevents #edmonton #urbanyeg #yegrestaurants #yegdrinks #yegfood #yeggers #yegdatenight #yegevents #yegfoodie #yegmusic #yegart #exploreedmonton #yegliving #edmonton #yeglocal#edmontonfood #edmontonliving

EDMONTON — THE SUMMER HEAT DOESN’T STOP 🔥 Last week was standing room only — no empty seats, just wall-to-wall laughs. It’s been a packed house every Wednesday this July, and we’re ending the month the only way we know how: FULL SEND. HEADLINER: ANDREW IWANYK Andrew Iwanyk is one of the strangest, most ridiculous performers working in North America today. The Hollywood Reporter named him one of the “buzz comics” of the Just for Laughs Festival, The Montreal Gazette named his jokes “best of the fest” and The New York Times said he exudes a “breathtaking weirdness”. NO COVER – FREE ENTRY. Doors 6:30 PM | Show 7:30 PM @ Kinshi Rinji (8109 101 St NW, just off Whyte Ave) Whether you’re flying solo, pulling up with the crew, on a date night, or celebrating a birthday — this show’s for you. Let’s close out July the right way. Maki Happy Comedy Jam – every Wednesday, always a vibe. - - #yegcomedy #yegstandup #yegcomedian #yeg #edmontonevents #edmonton #urbanyeg #yegrestaurants #yegdrinks #yegfood #yeggers #yegdatenight #yegevents #yegfoodie #yegmusic #yegart #exploreedmonton #yegliving #edmonton #yeglocal#edmontonfood #edmontonliving

We're doing another edition of TALES FROM THE CRINGE! This month, we have one of the most insane (and hilarious) tales I have ever heard: @kamalcomedy's epic tale of welfare fraud gone awry in "The Lazy Lollipop Labour Lie". Also on the show are the hilarious @alexjockojokes and @celestelampa who will be debuting some new stories and me, telling an old yarn about a time I almost temper tantrumed my way to an early GRAVE 🪦 Come down to @grindstonetheatre on April 23rd at 9pm - link in bio!
