What's the one thing you'd want built into your kitchen that no one else has?

For this client and project, we designed this holistically, pulling together everything from "I want to showcase my grandmother's china" to a complete overhaul of the kitchen layout, island, and the entire space being built for this family. The kind with a fridge covered in memories, and, judging by the photos lined up on the counter, some serious football loyalty.

Save this for your "someday kitchen" board....or tap the link in bio and explore how we can help make that happen sooner than later.

This kitchen went from "we inherited this from 2002" to "yes, we'll be hosting Thanksgiving, why do you ask?"

The before had all the hallmarks: dated oak cabinetry marching wall to wall, a valance doing its best 2000s era impression, and a wall oven that had clearly seen some things...

Swipe for along for the afters (and our custom design, ahem). A two-tone kitchen where a rich, dark-wood island anchors the room, while soft white perimeter cabinetry opens everything up. We paired the cabinetry with black hardware to add complementary detail work. A dimensional white tile runs the full height of the range wall, a pot filler (seriously, every kitchen needs this), and the countertops tie the whole thing together with and white-and-gray movement that screams "Thanksgiving here!"

Somewhere out there, someone is wrapping a birthday present on their bedroom floor surrounded by loose ribbon. Not here.

We built a dedicated ribbon wall, which means no more digging through a drawer for the right color. A built-in desk with knee space means you can actually sit down to wrap instead of hunched over the floor. And storage boxes up top keep gift bags, tissue paper, and everything else corralled instead of stacked in a closet somewhere. This gorgeous and bold navy really doesn't hurt either.

Share someone who wraps every gift like it's a competitive sport.

We believe that a powder bath should never be an afterthought.

Warm, richly stained cabinetry with crystal knobs and pulls? Nine custom-built drawers mean everything gets its own spot; no more digging past three hair dryers to find a Band-Aid. A curved bridge faucet and an oval undermount sink keep the whole look classic, and that mirror? It's doing main-character work all on its own.

Which detail are you stealing first? The hardware, the mirror, or the cabinetry?

Good finishes really are the backbone of good design.

When designing this primary bathroom, we wanted the space to feel soft and quiet, but still have so much depth and interest. We kept the palette fairly monochromatic and instead focused on choosing really beautiful materials - marble with natural variation, polished nickel, and soft layers of creamy white.

& these natural materials and living finishes only get better with time. They add character and allow a space to age gracefully rather than feeling tied to one particular moment or trend.

There are so many special details in this room, but none of them are fighting for attention. And I think that’s what makes it feel so peaceful. 🤍 So… no kids allowed? 🤭 just kidding kids can relax here too!

A little classic, a little collected, and completely made for living!

This kitchen is proof that a light and bright palette doesn’t have to feel one-dimensional. We paired this soft white cabinetry to create a timeless foundation, with the warm wood island bringing in just the right amount of depth and character.

Add in polished brass hardware, statement pendant lighting, a beautifully detailed range hood, and generous custom storage built for your own unique needs...and suddenly, it's not a pretty kitchen, it's your pretty kitchen.

A dream kitchen should do more than photograph well. It should work beautifully, too.

POV: You get to watch your dream home come to life from the ground up. 👀✨

This Chattanooga new build is still in progress, but the vision is finally starting to reveal itself—and WOW. 🤍

Every architectural detail, finish, fixture, and material was thoughtfully selected to create a home that feels timeless, layered, and completely unforgettable.

It’s not 100% finished yet… but we couldn’t wait to show you how this one is coming together. And trust us, the finished reveal is going to be GOOD.

We want to know—what detail are you noticing first? 👇🏼

"★★★★★. We had a phenomenal experience at Classic Cabinetry. My husband and I were building a new home and had been directed to them by our builder. Our design and on-site meetings were extremely productive, communication was excellent....Installation seamless, attention to detail, great follow-up, and customer support. Highly recommend Classic Cabinetry and the entire team!
