Take care of the chair and the chair will take care of you.

Never imagined saying the words “I’m leaving The Kings Club Barbershop.” I’ve been standing behind that barber chair since August 2011. Getting haircuts from Mike since 2007… almost 20 years involved in this shop. Fun, growth, life, a fire, a rebuild, love, and lots of learning. The Kings Club has given me nothing more than success and the ability to enjoy life.

I have been lucky enough to stay in my hometown and become a barber in the place I grew up in. Been lucky enough to buy a home, get married, raise a family, create life-long friendships, and start a non profit that has already done more than I would have ever imagined. The final step of success is me being able to leave and step into the next chapter of my life.

Thank you Mike, for bringing me in as a kid, taking a chance on a teenager, and from day one being the best boss, mentor, and friend I could ask for. As for what’s next, I’ll still be cutting hair, but the details of that will come at a later date. For now, I’ll be at The Kings Club for the next month or so. Come get another cut at the best barber shop there ever was or will be.

Katin SS 27 sales meeting in Huntington Beach! It’s always special to be back where it all started 71 years ago. We kicked things off with a celebratory surf session with some of our incredible athletes mingling with reps, international agents, and the internal teams in and out of the water. I’m forever grateful to be part of this amazing team.
