These are not my pictures. They belong to my father, Paul. Three years ago, he shot his last roll of film, most of it around this time of the year, before passing away at the end of 2023. These are pictures from that roll. Selections from those twenty-nine frames of memory, enclosed inside a camera, set aside, unfinished. In starkness of his absence, I had them developed. I think of them especially at this time of the year. We may never know when it might be our “last roll.” May all your rolls be good ones, my friends.

Made with a Zenit 11 or Zenit EM (I’m no longer sure which) and Fujifilm 200. Developed and scanned by @nationalcamera, edits by me.

🌸 All the Pinks! 🌸

I just love the way film captures the prettiest shades of pink, so when I saw these beautiful pink dahlias I just I knew I had to snap them! A few classic car doubles thrown in here too, the flowers made a perfect match to double with the interior of that classic convertible! 🥰 As always let me know if you have a favourite 🌸
