Books are never really about the books.
They’re about the people whose lives they become part of. ❤️

Last Friday, Harry Hartog Carindale hosted an In Conversation event for Unstoppable Business Growth and my journal, Life By Design.

The room had such a diverse group of people, and that is what I love about these events.

From well-seasoned business owners to solopreneurs.
From 5-year-olds to 86-year-olds.
From people I have known for years to people I had just met.

I get to see the people who purchase my books, share the journey of writing them, and, one of the most interesting parts, have those quick conversations afterwards while I sign their books.

They share what landed for them in my message, and where they see these books assisting them on their own journey.

Those conversations fill my heart. ❤️

And I am so grateful for retailers such as Harry Hartog for creating these opportunities, because this is why we still need retail.

It’s the experience, not just the stock.
It’s the connection, the conversation and the human interaction that happens around the books.

A massive thank you to a very talented MC, Eric Em.
I’m honoured to have you by my side on that night and throughout my journey.
You have done an amazing job as always.

And to my husband Chris Faast , his mum and my kids. who attended this event, you have seen the extended behind-the-scenes of this journey. ❤️ I hope being there showed you a glimpse of why I worked so hard on this project.

And to everyone in the room I absolutely loved meeting you there. 🫶🏽

I appreciate that you decided to spend your Friday night with me, and for some of you that drove more then 2hrs, or came for the 2nd time, much respect!

If you’re reading it and keen to grab your copy, the link is in the first comment. 📚👇🏽

for unstoppable growth.💙💛

Where should you actually be looking for jobs in Australia?

I’d start with Indeed.

Indeed has enormous global reach, and importantly for Australian job seekers, employers can post many roles for free, subject to Indeed’s conditions and limits. Employers can also pay to sponsor roles for greater visibility.

That matters.

Not every business wants to pay to advertise every vacancy on SEEK, so if you’re only searching SEEK, you may not be seeing the whole market.

LinkedIn also allows employers to have one free job active at a time, although there are limits around how long it stays active and the number of applications.

And Workforce Australia is completely free for employers to advertise on.

So my advice?

Search Indeed. Search SEEK. Check LinkedIn and Workforce Australia. Look at industry-specific boards and company career pages.

Then get off the job boards and start talking to people.

Recruiters, former colleagues, managers, suppliers, clients and people working in the industry you want to get into.

Your job search should never exist on one platform.

Inner Mastery August 2026 🧠✨

It was great to catch up with Courtney and the Inner Mastery students today at Industry Beans in Newstead.

It was also lovely to welcome two new members to the Mastery, Edith and Michelle. It really is the perfect environment for shared learning, creativity and growth.

Today, Courtney took us through some editing skills, including:
🎨 Colour grading
✍️ Custom text fonts
🎚️ HSL
🔵 Consistent branded content
🎯 Editing with purpose

But today also marked something a little more personal...

One year of working with Courtney. 🎉

It’s hard to believe it’s already been 12 months. Looking back, it’s been an incredible year of learning, growth and stepping outside my comfort zone.

Grateful to have had Courtney by my side throughout the journey and excited for what the next chapter brings.

1% better every day. 🚀

💛 What makes a Serve the City morning special? The people beside you.

Yesterday morning, we were back at Emmanuel City Mission with another incredible crew of 10+ volunteers! 🙌

☕ Serving breakfast
🥪 Helping with practical tasks
💬 Spending time with people experiencing homelessness and hardship
💛 And simply being present with the ECM community

We’re loving seeing volunteers from across our different Brisbane projects coming together — familiar faces returning, new friendships forming and a community that keeps showing up. 🫶

But something even more special is happening.

Some of the people we first met through the communities we serve at our other projects are now coming back as volunteers themselves — joining our crew and serving alongside us. 🤝

And that’s exactly the community we want to build.

✨ Not “us” serving “them”.
Just people serving people. 💛

A huge thank you also to our volunteers who keep arriving with generous donations to share with the ECM community! 🛍️🧡

And we’re doing it all again next Saturday! 🙌

WE’RE FULL! 💛🥪

Our next @coffeebrigadebrisbane morning is officially at capacity—yet another Serve the City project filled by our incredible volunteer community!

Together with Coffee Brigade, our volunteers spend the morning in Brisbane preparing and packing fresh sandwiches that are distributed across our city to people experiencing homelessness and hardship.

It is a simple, hands-on act of service, but every sandwich helps provide nourishment, care and a reminder that someone in our city is thinking of you.

Small acts really can make a big impact 💛🙏🏻

Missed out this time? Come join us at one of our next Coffee Brigade shifts:

🥪 23 September 2026
🥪 17 November 2026
🥪 15 December 2026

Spaces are limited, so register early—and watch this space for more dates coming soon!

Curiosity lives at the edge of what you know | The Inner Mastery

You become curious when you reach the limits of your current understanding. It’s in that space, where you realise there’s still more to learn, that your mind comes alive.

That’s why reading books, listening to podcasts, attending talks, or surrounding yourself with curious, like minded people can be so powerful.

Growth rarely happens inside the boundaries of what you already know. It happens when you’re standing at the edge of it, asking, “What else is possible?”

Stay curious. That’s where learning begins. 🧠✨

Why do I feel called to step up out of my comfort zone and Speak? 🎤🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒💰🌈🌎☯️🧲 Thankyou to @storiesbyericem, @businessawardscoach @hollyockstadt @kaleychu for helping me STEP UP and share my story and legacy movement for humanity. In the Age of AI, we are more disconnected than ever before from our Natural Intuitive Intelligence… our loved ones, our body, our heart and our magnetic confidence… everyone is sooo focused on “taking care of themselves and getting ahead financially” (survival mindset), which can contribute to stress, anxiety, depression, health issues, suicide and UNsustainable burnout cycle to keep up. What if THERE IS AN EA$IER WAY where we CAN ALLL support each other towards releasing the “survival lack mindset” to “easier abundance serves everyone” mindset … Let’s unite together to support generational abundance and vitality NOW.. and teach your children, your grandchildren, your great grandchildren a NEW EASIER WAY WE CAN ALL UNITE TO BUILD AN ABUNDANT, COLLABORATIVE WORLD… 🥰☯️💰🌈🌎🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🎶💗.
