Unique Limited Edition of 1
‎‏Artist: @storm_ha
‎‏Title: Top It All
‎‏Size: 120 x 151 cm
‎‏Medium: Rug

This artwork is a personal painting of Christian’s that served as a catalyst for studying ideas, techniques, and color combinations. Its geometric and architectural structures were carefully crafted to evoke emotions and generate personal reactions. Now, this artwork is being transformed into the “Art in Rug” project, reproducing it on a limited scale onto a different medium.

By embracing this endeavor, the painting’s essence expands, allowing others to experience its emotions and creative expression. The fusion of art and functionality emerges as the aesthetics of visual art blend with the practicality of an everyday object, bridging the gap between art and life.

"I prioritized making a balance, not overshadowing the shoe design, as the original was already brilliant. I wanted to compliment the shoe by adding a signature pattern of my work with a strong impact with the bright neon color. It was similar to painting graffiti in the streets since I strived to see how my work could complement the scenery and the location, making it a part of society."

Exhibition

Same Same But Different

The third duet exhibition of JunkHouse (Korea) and Christian Storm (Denmark) will be held at Gallery H in Gwanhun-dong, Jongno-gu for 10 days from July 21.to 31. The two are artists who have been active in the subculture of street art and graffiti for a long time. Thanks to the environment they have worked in on the street and in the city, the two have expressed different styles of work within the same category with the common elements of line, form, geometry, architecture, and city. Those who are familiar with the artists' works may think that they are a series of similar works, but the two artists are continuously developing by experimenting and researching various materials and techniques. Recently, the two left Seoul and moved to Dongtan after their marriage. Due to the new environment in the new city and the pandemic, they have been adapting to the environment in which they isolated themselves from society and have been working while influencing each other.
